I would suggest after washing them and wearing them; to definitely order a larger size, they are 100 cotton and will shrink quite a bit. I'm not a large and I wish I ordered a much larger size because they did shrink and now, they are too tight and I washed them in cold water and low heat. They are worth it for the price but please order a large size or you'll be disappointed and will then need to order a larger size like I will have to.
