This isn’t what I expected. I have bought this brand of low rise briefs for many years because I like the feel & fit. But, the waist band on the ones I received is just like the cheap elastic ones that Fruit of the Loom uses. I prefer the cotton covered ones. I will donate them to a local charity but not buy again. I have included a photo of my old ones so you can see the difference in the waist bands.

Cheaply made, very poor quality-- scratchy fabric, not the soft cottony feel one requires in an undergarment. Quite shocking because of the brand name, which formerly stood for 'quality'. No more. The colors pictured are not what I received; rather than two black I received one denim blue and one off-purple, the "pink" is washed out closer to beige; and the other pairs white, as pictured. Will donate these to a shelter. Will not purchase Hanes again.

I love the Hanes underwear that has all the elastic covered. Unfortunately, while the leg openings are covered, the waist is not, making it very uncomfortable. Update: I've dropped this to one star after trying to wear them multiple times. The complaint above, I had right out of the package, but now, I can't wear these at all. The fabric doesn't feel like cotton or feels like it was soaked in starch, but starch that never washes out now matter how many times I wash them. The fabric is really thin, stiff, really scratchy. Forget trying to sleep in these if you are sensory sensitive at all. If there are actually Hanes at all, then Hanes quality has fallen very, very far. These are, by far, not worth it and quite probably the most uncomfortable underwear I've ever worn. Update: Good news! I found the old kind at Target in Dec 2018!! So, apparently, they still make them. Wish we could know for sure what we are ordering on here as obviously, they are not selling what they are advertising!

Bring back the Comfortsoft Stretch Cotton Low Rise Briefs! These have thin scratchy cotton, no stretch, and the waist band and leg bands are exposed and uncomfortable. Sham one you Hanes.

Hanes has always been my choice for underwear, so I felt confident ordering this package from Amazon. I was disappointed when I felt the fabric. It's really stiff, even after washing. My husband actually commented that they felt starchy when he was helping me fold the laundry. These underwear will be put in the back of my drawer for those days when I don't have time to do laundry.

The waist band was not like advertised. My biggest complaint is you can’t pick your own colors or styles. I can never find my size 7 in the low rise. Stock more and let us pick the colors and designs. And get some up to date prints. Pretty expensive to for going straight to the company.

I purchased these because I couldn't find the low rise brief with a comfort waistband anywhere. What I received seemed a size smaller than they should be, sized more like regular briefs, and had the exposed elastic waistband. I will be donating them as I tried two pair, but I was very disappointed!

I have these one star and that was generous. These are paper thin (you can read through them as the photo shows), with a skinny, scratching feeling waist band. Not worth half the price. I am trying to return them but it is being made difficult on purpose. I would never by from this seller again.
