About the third set of 12 I have purchased. They fit ok but they don't last too long 1 year and the heels start getting holes in them. I do have to say 95% of their wear is inside on carpeted floors no shoes. I don't know if this is harder on them than wearing shoes or not. Wash them alone or wit very dark clothes 3 or 4 times unless you want everything else black. After that it's ok. They do not shrink very much so thats a plus. 6-12 size means my size 10 feet have to stretch them out some. After 3 or 4 wearings they settle down to my size and are comfortable.

So my horse had to wear a boot on his foot and the vet told me to get some socks to keep it from chafing. The first set I got were tight, hard to put on, and tore up quickly. These bad boys? Lasted for days at a time and I even washed and dried them and could use them again! They were realllly stretchy BUT they stayed up well. Which was great, because he can't pull them up himself and can you imagine how annoying that would be for him if they didn't stay up well? So, highly recommended. If a horse can't tear them up easily, I think they'll do well for a person. Also, they were nice and padded.

Finally, socks that fit a size 14, well-made. I have 3 men living in the house and with the solid grey bottom, I can easily identify who the socks belong to when doing laundry. Yes, I recommend.

These are better then the last socks like this. The new ones have blue lettering up by the toe. The previous version of these was too tight about the ankle. The newer version seems to give easier to the leg area aboe your ankle while still staying tight enough to not split down. The previous version used to leave a numb ring around the top of the sock. I would constantly push them down during the day to relieve that pressure. I do not get that discomfort with the newer style.

My feet are 12.5 with wide width. These socks do fit but are very tight. I will update this review after a few months to determine if the socks last.
