The media could not be loaded. The undies are fine but I had a lovely latina wife that cared for me so well I never purchased any clothing for the 22+ years were together (74 days short of 20 years married when ovarian cancer took her from me 22 months ago). Naturally I thought I ordered the correct size but did't some how. I had lost 30 pounds the year after my wife passed away. Actually perhaps because I went from one of the best cooks on the planet (my late wife) to one of the worst cooks on the planet - me. So I guess this is how I ordered the wrong size I guess........ So, in teh end, I will re order another 5 pack of Hanes but be more exacting with the size. The material is high quality and the elastic is strong and durable it seems. And I like the lenth of these too.

Most uncomfortable fabric ever.... Had X-Temp Ultimate before and they were great and 100% cotton. These however are 97% cotton and the other 3% is apparently sandpaper. Very disappointed 3% of anything should change the feel that much. ALready washed them as I figured that may soften them up but, NOPE! Can't send them back now which is even more disappointing.

I picked up a package of Hanes X-Temp at Target a while ago. They fit great and were the softest underwear I ever owned. I also went to Kohls & was able to feel their same underwear & it was as soft as the Hanes X-Temp at Target. I had ordered this at Amazon & was excited because it was considerably cheaper at Amazon. Warning! THIS IS NOT THE SAME. The package I got from Amazon looks the same & fits fine but the materal is about the coursest UI have ever had. I kept them & have worn them but just be aware if you have purchased these at other stores your not getting the same product.

I have been buying these for two years and I have always been happy with them until now. This batch arrived with a slightly stiffer cloth than previous pairs. I kept them because I figured that they would soften up when washed. They have not. After a couple of months of washing the cloth just keeps getting stiffer and are NOW UNWEARABLE. The cloth is so stiff it abrades my skin like wearing sand paper. It is not the washing machine. Everything else washes the same including the first two dozen pairs I bought. I now need to find an alternative.

These are NOT remotely comparable to the poly/spandex X-Temp material. The only reason they are getting 3 stars from me instead of 1 star is that it was my fault for assuming all X-Temp products were at least somewhat similar. They are not. I should have read the fine print that says these are 97% cotton. That is my fault. It makes no sense to have one sub-brand (Hanes X-Temp) encompass everything from purely polyester/spandex products to products like these that are 97% cotton. The synthetic boxer briefs are nearly perfect, but these are like 40 grit sandpaper compared to the synthetics. For anyone with wide thighs and narrow hips (i.e. most male athletes) these will turn your inner thighs into raw ground beef. You're better off going commando than wearing these. I should have paid better attention when ordering and bought the poly/spandex blend. Those are great boxers. These are not. I would give 1 star but it was my own lack of attention to detail that led to me buying these.

It's hard to say what I like about them because there isn't much to like. What I like least is the size. I'm an average size guy. Nothing overly large or small for a 6 foot 220 fellow. I have worn Hanes for years size large. I bought larges this time had to give them to my grandson. Way to small. The legs where so tight. Very much cheap hotel pants as well. Bought XL still snugg in the legs and now waist so big they slide down. They bunch up around the boys. Why can't Hanes make size 34-36, 38-40, 42-44? It feels like the 36-38 are really 36 and the 40-42 are really 42. That leaves the guys in the 38-40 bracket with nothing that fits. It's getting damn hard to find affordable underwear that fits.

Make sure you read the description very well because I feel misled. I bought the same value at The Big Box store and they were like 50 or 60% cotton and 50 or 40% spandex. I thought I was buying the same thing and these are just the same old boxer briefs you would usually buy. Wore them to work today and dealt with chafing so do not buy these unless you know what you're buying
