I'm a woman and I bought these to wear as everyday white tees. All the reviews I saw were written by men, so I thought I'd offer my two cents. Despite what some reviewers have said, the shirts I received are definitely see-through – I tried one on without a bra and everything was very visible, even in low light. That said, they're NOT that heavy, stiff fabric so many men's shirts are made of, and they feel well-made. I machine-wash and hang-dry them, and they're holding up very well. I normally wear a 34C, a women's small or medium top and size 4 dress. I ordered size small and they fit ... not exactly tight, but not really drapey. If you're looking for a looser, more tuckable fit, you should probably match your chest measurement to the size chart and then go up one size.

All six T-shirts were fine... until I threw them in the washer and drier, and then the fit hit the shan. I'd ordered them in Large, except that after I took them out of the drier, these suckers had shrunk down to a Medium. And I am not a Medium. Another quibble is that, now, any time I raise my arm, the sleeves - that were too short in the first place - ride up and bunch up around the armpits, so that I have to pick at them and tug them out. I can't even wave at people any more. My friends think I'd gotten snooty. I would execute a crestfallen face palm, but the sleeves'll just ride up again. The only thing worse would be if the shirts only had three openings.

These shirts fit great when I first got them. I bought a 2 different kind of Hanes t shirts. These shirts are made of thin 100% cotton and have a black printed label on the inside that says Comfort Soft. After washing on warm and drying on warm in the dryer they have shrunk at least 2 to 3 inches in lenght and no longer fit good because they are too short. The other Hanes t shirts that I bought are made of a heavier 100% cotton and have a red printed label that says “ Hanes Our Most Comfortable”. I would rate those shirts with 5 stars

One reviewer on Amazon said that these shirts shrink when washed, so buy the next size up. None of the other reviews mentioned it, so I bought my correct size. I always wash everything new, before I wear it, and I washed in cold water, despite that the tag recommends warm water. Of course they shrunk, significantly. That's on me. These shirts are the poorest quality I've ever got from Hanes, which has been on a downward spiral over the last few years. The shirts are 100% cotton, yet feel like old school polyester, scratchy as hell. The feel of them is quite bad for 100% cotton. Not soft at all. I'm going to donate these shirts, as I wouldn't want to pass them on to friends, or family. And, I will NEVER buy Hanes again!

I’ve bought Hands shirts for years from retail stores and never have they been this low quality. I’m not sure if they are knockoffs or if they make a low end version to sell for less on amazon, but these are very cheap, thin and rough feeling compared to other names shirts I have purchased. The print on the tagless tag is also black and not red like in the picture. Makes me skeptical. The problem is that the only way to know this is to open them. I wonder if I can return them after they are opened?

I have used Hanes t-shirts for years. Including with tag, when they first went tagless, their "Most Comfortable", and now the Fresh IQ version. The Fresh IQ are the first I have encountered that have a tendency to be tight, especially after the first wash and dry. I use 3XL and still have that size in all the styles of Hanes that I listed, so rotating these new Fresh IQ into use, I can see that they definitely shrink up more than the others that I wash the same way and have been using. I had ordered "Most Comfortable" within the last 6 months, so it is not a case that Hanes shirts have changed in general because I did not notice this in the Most Comfortable, etc. Fresh IQ shirts shrunk up enough they do not fit right and do not look as good under a polo or button up shirt. I believe I bought 6 packages when I bought these and have opened 3 so far and they have all shrunk after washing. Shrunk to around a 2XL or smaller.
