They’re worth every penny and then some.
Size: Large

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve tried many different brands of underwear and shapes as well as fabrics and chose Hanes because they are very comfortable. The fabric is very soft and easy to care for, it is long lasting and keeps its shape over time while never fading. The waist band is very comfortable, the quality is amazing. I will always wear these particular brand of underwear because of all of the things I just described.

The Evolution (or Devolution?) of Hanes Men's Underwear Briefs
When it comes to the classic and ever-functional men's underwear briefs, one brand that inevitably finds its place in our wardrobes and our hearts is Hanes. I've been a staunch advocate of Hanes' underwear for several years, drawn to the comfort, fit, and durability of the product. It's always been the comfortable companion we men have needed - the elastic waist that holds up remarkably well wash after wash, the vibrant colors that provide a lively alternative to the monotonous white, and the consistent quality that never ceases to satisfy. However, in a candid confession, my recent experiences with Hanes Men's Underwear Briefs have left me with mixed feelings. These sentiments echo some concerns brought up by other wearers, leading to an uncomfortable reckoning about the product's current status. Pros: Classic Comfort: With a classic fit that molds well to varying body shapes, Hanes' briefs have long been the epitome of comfort in underwear. Despite initial apprehensions about the loose fit, I was relieved to find the fabric adjusting well after the first wash. Versatile colors: I appreciate the color variety that Hanes brings to the table. It's a refreshing change from the standard whites and adds a dash of personality to our intimate wear. The Cotton Factor: The soft cotton fabric is still one of the reasons I stick with Hanes. It's soft, comfortable and washes fairly well. Cons: Inconsistent Sizing: Over time, I've noticed an unsettling inconsistency in Hanes' sizing. What was once an unwavering standard seems to have veered off course, with some pairs fitting nicely, while others are uncomfortably tight or too loose. This size discrepancy might be linked to changes in manufacturing processes or cost-cutting measures, but it's undeniably troubling for loyal customers. Quality Issues: Unfortunately, the quality of the product has been a contentious issue lately. Some pairs bear the hallmarks of carelessness – glued-on brand names peeling off, a concerning lack of stretch in the waistband, and some reviewers even reporting allergic reactions. Change in Material: A notable difference in recent purchases is the change in material. What used to be a thick, durable fabric now feels thin and wears out faster than its older versions. While the briefs are still soft to the touch, their diminished durability is disappointing. Limited availability: It's become a struggle to find this particular style in physical stores, with online platforms being the only viable option. The scarcity adds an unnecessary layer of inconvenience for buyers, reducing the accessibility that Hanes was known for. In conclusion, my personal journey with Hanes Men's Underwear Briefs has been a roller coaster ride of sorts. While I still appreciate the comfort and color variety they offer, the recent changes in size consistency and quality are troubling. It's disheartening to see a trusted brand falter in areas where it was once strong. Here's hoping Hanes takes these issues seriously and reinstates the legacy of quality and reliability that its underwear briefs once stood for. Until then, I will remain a cautious buyer, measuring my optimism with the reality of the product's current standing.

Good fit

Item worked great as expected and I appreciate the fit.

Fits good, feels good!
This mens cotton underwear is a little unique in it's design. The waistband is very narrow which prevents it from folding over when you move and bend. Also, there is no label sewn in the back of the shorts. There is a small label sewn on the outside, left front side of the shorts about the size of a postage stamp which is never felt by the wearer. I like them so well I ordered a few more of them because the last thing I want to do is try to buy them later only to find out that they no longer make them! The only issue I have had with one pair is that a thread came loose on the waistband and before I knew it, it had pulled out some of the locking stitches in the waistband. Once I discovered it, I tied a knot in it and cut off the excess thread and so far it has been staying together. Nice product at a reasonable price.

Fits and feels great
Size: Medium
Color: Assorted Solids 6-pack
Was skeptical on sizes... mainly due to industry sizing standards changing since early 2000s. Medium is large due to muscular fit builds. So I ordered large for my fit large tall 33 waist. They fit like what I had hoped for, moving from true boxers due to lack of options. I don't know why mens briefs are being sold in variations like woman's knickers but it's gotta stop! Real cotton briefs or silk true boxers for me. Why spend over $20 for briefs that have a seam right in the middle that rides up against you? Women wear seamless knickers for good reason. If it were fashion to display what you're wearing and your package size down below then flaunt your money. Just seems a waste of money to impress gym mates on underwear. Women appreciate classic look if that is all you wear around the house in the morning. Otherwise it's too much "this is all that I am". Bold colors and neat clean fit makes wearing practically nothing on a lazy Saturday day at home well accepted.
