The style of the sweatpants and material allows for long lasting, versatile wear. Every size fits well and true to the chart. The size small boys size range is 6-8 and I like how the waistband starts at size 6, but stretches to an 8 without being too tight. The fabric lasts long, and is durable. I wash every pair after 1 wear (lasting an entire day). I replace the pants if they get torn, form too many pills, or get stained--- and that doesn't happen too often. The pants don't shrink too much, and the color doesn't fade too much. Overall, a great value and a staple in my kids' wardrobe(s). ... show more

Bought large and mediums. Same brand. Mediums fit her so I kept those and returned the large. After the first wash, they were too little for her. So now I’m back buying the large again so I can wash them and shrink them down to her size. Unfortunately she needs navy sweats for school gym uniform. Blah. ... show more

It probably says somewhere that these don't have pockets, but I didn't see it or I'd never have bought them in the first place, but that's on me. The one star is for the poor quality. Just over a month and the stitching in the groin area is already unraveling making these useless to even donate.

I am a 4'10", 95lb adult woman and ordered these because it's hard to find plain old-school sweatpants that aren't joggers or fancy athletic fabric. I ordered a Large which would have been the right size, except there was way too much fabric in the front and not enough in back. I'm not super gifted in the booty area, but I do work out so it's there and these pants did not accommodate. The front came up way too high, and because of the disparity between the front and the back, there was no correct number of times to roll down the waistband. I'll still give these 3 stars because the quality seemed fine, especially for the price, so purchasing these for an actual child would probably be fine. ... show more

My son is tall, very slender, and hates wearing jeans. Tie waist band pants are out as well. These are a snug enough fit that they don't fall down. He is 10, but usually a size 8 fits him best in the waist. Based on the size guide I order a 10/12 and they are perfect. Plenty long enough with room to grow in length.
