The print ones don't soften up quite like the plain ones do after washing but my son still thinks they are pretty comfy. I thought these were gonna be a silky spandex type boxer but they are not. My son has been wearing these for awhile now. He's an active and sweaty kid, so thick knits don't work well for him. These are thin, but still sturdy. They hold up to washing on a heavy cycle. They dry relatively quickly and are decently soft.
