This is the perfect resting vessel for my mother. It has a nice satin finish and the etchings are shimmery but not distracting. Simple and clean, you couldn't ask for something better. The lid is threaded and heavy so you don't feel like your loved one will spill out, I don't have that worry anyway as she's in a bag inside but if your funeral home doesn't do bags the lid will keep their cremains safe. My only issue was my mother passed unexpectedly and we needed something to put her in on short notice. I ordered this within days of her passing and was quoted an arrival of within 1-2wks. The main urn was delayed by almost a MONTH which didn't help with the stress and anguish I was already dealing with. It's been a few months so I'm feeling put back together enough to finally review this urn and company. The quality is superb but the shipping timelines are unacceptable. Please either keep better inventory checks to make sure you can fulfill your shipment estimates or open better communication with your management teams so things stay streamlined. Any hiccups with items like these can feel catastrophic to the grieving.
