Every child needs one when learning about measurement
As a teacher, these are my favorite rulers for introducing measurement to children. They are especially good for visual learners. Every child should have one of these rulers when they begin learning about measurement.

Easy for students
These rulers start at the EDGE which is amazing for students just learning. Most rulers have a little gap between the edge and where measurements start. Great for in class use!

Flexible, not breakable
This is a really great idea for toddlers who like to put plastics that are thin into their mouth and break them off. This is flexible and will not break off in their mouth and for a teacher that is working with toddlers every day I like less to worry about.

Great for k-3 teachers!
These are really helpful for learning fourths of an inch and centimeters. I used it with my 3rd grade class. It’s much easier to see. Great for introducing measurement.

Great ruler for 3rd graders!
I love the quality and the fact that these rulers aren't broken into sixteenths of an inch. My only complaint is that they don't start with a zero on the end. Most rulers have a notch and start at zero because of eventual wear and tear. For younger learners starting on the edge was challenging because they would tend to "curl" the start of the straight line. Other than that, they are very durable and easy to read. ... show more

Best rulers for 3rd grade
These are so amazing and I was looking for this exact kind forever! I was so happy with them, I shared it on my 3rd grade Facebook page and so many teachers reported that they bought them and love them too! They are sturdy and colors don’t fade.
