This is an everyday shirt I got my 5 year old grandson. It seems well made and I could not see any mis-stitching. He said he likes the feel. It seems to be just smidge larger for him thus allowing for a little growth during the summer. The shirt does seem very light weight even though it is just a basic crewneck T shirt. It also seems to stretch while he plays. I like the detail around the neck and sleeves but wish it also had a chest pocket to complete the look. I have not had the chance to run it through any wash cycles but I do not expect any issues in terms of shrinkage given that it is not made of cotton. I ordered this shirt for my 13 year old to wear on school spirit days; the school colors are gold and black, and this shirt has attractive black trim on the neckline and at the sleeve hems. He's very active, and he's certainly put this t-shirt through its paces. For $9 it's an excellent buy. The neckline has not stretched out, it's been washed and dried several times and has not faded yet, and he reports that it's soft. It runs true to size and I expect that he'll not only be able to wear it for the rest of the school year, but during the summer too. The fabric is lightweight which won't make it too hot during the summertime, and a jacket or sweatshirt can be easily thrown on over it during cooler weather. ... show more

If you are fortunate like me and have a kid who could care less about brand names, then I honestly can't recommend Haloumoning enough. I know, I never heard of them either, but this is the fifth article of clothing we've gotten from them and they make really good quality shirts, sweaters, and hoodies. And this shirt is no different. For reference, my son is 10 and is currently just about 5' tall and 110 pounds. The size 13-14 was just about perfect for him with maybe a little room to grow. He might even get a whole summer out of it before he hits another growth spurt and we have to rebuy his whole wardrobe. Not only is the fit good, but the material like all their other items we've tried is really soft and comfortable for him to wear. He's very sensitive to the texture of fabrics he wears and he loves this shirt. We opted for a black shirt to try and it's a true black that hasn't faded a bit through several washes. In addition to being nice clothing, everything Haloumoning makes is a great value. Unfortunately, they don't make sizes larger than 13-14, so I won't be able to buy their clothes for my son much longer.
