I love skating at the local ice rink. Having to rent skates every time does add up, though, and I love having my own pair of skates. The fit is true to size, they are much more comfortable than rental skates, and the blades feel more stable.

They do feel a bit cheap in quality and I can already tell that they won’t last very long, however if you are an occasional skater or a beginner they would be a good fit.

These are great for those at the beginner level. The uppers are made of PVC materials with limited give. The skates will hold there original shape with limited options for stretching or conforming the upper. The inner does have some padding for comfort, but they may not be comfortable for long periods of wear. I have wider feet, so they are a bit snug. They do lace all the way from the toe to top. The sole is made of plastic. The blade seems like a good quality and is sharp out of the box. Overall, I think these would be good for beginner skaters, especially if you are looking for an alternative to rental skates.

I just moved to an area that has lakes that freeze in the winter, so I was excited to order these to go skating! I am a casual skater who ice skates less than once a year normally (but roller blade frequently) and these seem like these are perfect for a casual skater. The boots are slightly stiff but seem like they will be more comfortable after breaking in. I like the sherpa lining detail but it is only on the top part of the boot. I normally wear a 6.5/7 in shoes and based on their size chart, ordered an 8 and I think I would even prefer an 8.5 as my toes are slightly pressing into the front of the skates with thin socks. There is very little padding in the sole as well. I like that the blades and points come with protectors. I really like the white color except for the black logo on the tongue of the boots...it looks tacky with a pure white skate. Overall these seem like good skates for beginners or casual users.

These ice skates are going to be nice and comfortable once I have broken them in. The boots are a little stiff and not the most flexible material, but I hope to use a boot stretcher to help make them mold to my feet a bit more. The blades seem to be well made and will sharpen well. The laces are good quality and will last for a while with proper use and care. The boots are nice to look at and are true to size. The sole is plastic, making a bit harder to change the blades out if you would like to have a different one, but that is a minor concern. These skates are good for beginners and recreational use and I plan to use them a lot this winter.

These ice skates are a nice mid-range option, not high-end, but definitely not cheap feeling either. I got them for casual skating since I go often enough it justifies buying a pair than renting every time, and they’ve worked out great for that. They’re comfortable with a soft, padded lining and not overly stiff, so they’re easy to move in and feel good for beginners or light use. The stainless-steel blades glide smoothly, and they feel sturdy without being heavy. I probably ordered a half-size too small, so I might exchange them, but otherwise the fit seems good. They don’t come with a carrying bag, just the skates themselves, but for the price and comfort level, I’m really happy with them. Perfect for anyone who wants to get out on the ice now and then without spending a fortune.
