I dont have to wear a suit and tie often but when I do, it's usually some flavor of blue, black or grey so I am always on the hunt for an updated tie. I like that this tie has the more modern slimmer look without being too wide or a skinny tie. You can always tell when someone is using an old tie. It feels good...smooth with a little texture, looks great with several of my suits that have subtle patterns or no pattern and the tie was very reasonably priced. You cant go wrong with this tie...well worth it.

This necktie works well if you need a classic design from a tie that has some thickness and texture. I received the light blue version. The texture of this Haggar solid necktie gives it an appearance that isn't quite a "real" solid color. My light blue color has the illusion of a subtle white accent pattern due to the woven texture that is visible in certain amounts of light. Personally, I like that effect, but be aware that it won't come across as a true light blue solid if that's what you are looking for. Besides the texture, the tie itself has notable thickness to it, for better and worse. With some shirts have a thicker tie is nice to add a different look to your outfit and shirt. But that thickness means you will be limited to tying single, simple knots. You can't do a windsor knot. Well, maybe you can, but only if you are 5'8" or shorter because you won't have enough tie to work with. I found myself only able to use it with a pratt knot and with that the small tail in the back wasn't long enough to be secured through the holder loop in the back (I'm over 6' tall). I need to use a tie clip with it. The thickness makes it feel durable and long-lasting, though. The only caveat is that when it arrived it had a hard bend in the mid-point of the thick tie from the interior cardboard packaging card to keep it from getting bunched up. I had to iron it for a couple minutes to get that one hard bend out of it before hanging it in my closet. Overall, I do like this thicker Haggar tie. I fills a need in my wardrobe and the thick textured feels give it an aesthetic that is somewhat more unique than silk (or faux silk) ties. I think the light blue pairs well with a darker blue shirt or a pink shirt.

This is a basic, but very nice tie. This is a good staple in every wardrobe – the tie that goes with nearly every outfit, and holds up well to trends and time. The price point and quality are both great. I would definitely recommend this tie.

I have purchased a lot of Haggar brand clothing, and I always felt that the brand delivered upscale products but at the same time being reasonably priced. I don’t wear ties everyday but wear them about once a month. Most of my ties are hand me downs and rather old and dated. This tie from Haggar looks fresh, being its mostly black would fit into several of my long sleeve shirts, and ties great. I am a “fluffier” yet shorter guy and had no issues tying it carefully to reach my waistline. The tie itself seems to have some nice substance to it and you're going to love the way you look with it! Haggar delivers excellent quality ties at a reasonable price!

I have owned many neckties, although I try to avoid wearing them these days. However, I am glad to get this Haggar men's textured necktie in navy blue, since I have not had a plain-ish navy tie for a while. Here's what I can say about this one: It is 100% polyester, with a thicker feel than one intended to feel like silk. As tie wearers know, the thicker fabric means a thicker knot once tied, and less tie left over (or "tail") in the back. Because of this, when tied snugly around my 16.5" neck using a half-Windsor knot, the tail is not long enough to reach the keeper loop and/or label below it. This is the case even though the tie is the normal length of about 56" total. For me, that won't be a problem, since I use a tie tack and can place the tie tack such that the tail is included and won't be peeking out from behind the front of the tie. Other's may not care about a bit of the tail showing anyway, but I don't like it. Anyway, the fabric has a nice, quality feel to it. Even though it was folded in half for shipping, as soon as I put it on it does not look like it has ever been folded, so it holds a nice shape. There are other signs of quality such as the heavy stitch (the "blade") that holds the lower, back part of the tie closed. No, I didn't know it was called a blade until I looked it up just now. Interesting. If this tie was selling for under $15 it would be a good deal. $15-25 would be an average deal, in my opinion. Any more than that, and I would look for something that ended up with a longer tail when tied.

These are fairly nice ties. I've been generally happy with Haggar products. They are 100% polyester, so they won't be quite as nice as a silk tie. I've got a bunch of name brand 100% silk ties that are simply nicer looking. However, I will still wear these, and they are a great lower cost option. You will pay 3-5x more for a silk tie from a name brand. They are a little thicker than a silk tie, but they look nice and the patterns are stylish. I have the black one with little white dots and really like the pattern. The other colors would look nice, as well. I would recommend these if you like the pattern and you don't have a strong preference on material.
