The media could not be loaded. This is a great bar for a beginner and is a good value. It's solid and more stable compared to the first bar we tried. The longer base means no rocking when the gymnast swings, even with a 10 year old swinging on it. Another plus, the bar is the widest and tallest we could find on Amazon or in this price range. My daughter is 4'7" and she doesn't use the highest settings yet. The fiberglass bar is plenty strong and has a little more give than the metal bar on our first model which is important. It's more friendly on the body than metal but doesn't quite have the flex of an official sized bar due to length. For the price I don't think you can do better, at least that I was able to find. We use her inflatable gymnastics mat as padding underneath the bar and it provides a safe landing if she should fall. I'm happy wit the purchase and so is my daughter.

We got this for my 10 year old daughter for her birthday. She has been wanting to be able to practice her gymnastics on the days she doesnt have class. She loves it! I was a little hesitant since she is use to the professional quality one at her gym. But for the price I am very impressed. She can do all her flips and trick without it hardly moving! We are very happy with this purchase so far. I would recommend getting a mat with it as well. as the cross bar underneath could bang up your toes. But other than that its a great product at a great value!

Ordered this for my kids for Christmas. It was one of the only bars that I could find for older kids. My kids love it. We use it for other things not gymnastics. My oldest (13) is able to do pull ups on it. It seems sturdy, easy to put together although the directions are a little hard to follow.

We really thought this bar would be more durable than the others because the feet are longer and it has support on the sides…wrong! My daughter is 10 and petite and this bar wobbles so much when shes does any spin, half circles, squat on..etc. if the bar was heavier i think it would support the weight. Now we have to buy either sand bags or something to help support the wobble movement.

This bar set was a long-realized dream for my daughter. With that said, there are some rather serious design issues that you should know about before you buy. PROS: overall there is good atability in frame design. I like the support bars and long base. Bonus points on the color. The price is a good entry point. MEH: the instructions. They’re not great. You can figure it out between the pictures and description, but instead of providing a QR code or link to instructions, they said contact them. I didn’t love that. I did love the little wrenches and screwdriver to assist with assembly. The CONS: Even with the long base, you still need extra weight for stability. That is not a super big deal. This is the deal-breaker for me: the bar. Instead of an all wood bar that provides some bounce and allows the gymnast to capitalize off kinetic energy, this is wood wrapped hard PVC. It provides no give, making it harder to complete maneuvers and also resulting in harder wear on the body. My daughter is struggling with bruising and blisters. I am going to need to buy a solid wood bar that I can use as a replacement. The poor bar quality product is a deal breaker for me and if I had to do it again, I WOULD NOT BUY THIS BAR. Don’t be fooled by the price.
