I'm writing this review for the plaid color. I want to like this dress so badly, but I'm really struggling. Most of the dress fits well. It's nice to finally have a dress with the waist low enough, since most everything is so short waisted that if you have any chest at all, it looks weirdly like an empire waist. This dress does NOT do that. The waist hits well. The fabric is very cozy. Think nice hand-feel flanel pajamas. It's soft and thick, but still drapes well. My issue is with the neck line. The neck is elastic all the way around, and seems overly large in proportion to the rest of the dress, almost like it is begging to be an off the shoulder style, but the rest of the dress says that isn't the case. Would I buy it again? If I needed to match a theme, yes. I think with some styling, it would work for family photos. Would I buy it in a vacuum? Probably not.     • Wonderful Dress for the Upcoming Holidays - May be Too Long For Short Women

Note: My height is 5'2" (unless I'm wearing heels), and my weight hovers around 100 pounds. Immediately upon removing this dress from its shipping bag, I noted the weight of its fabric. The dress felt solid without being overbearing; it was light enough to feel smooth upon my skin, but heavy enough to be warming without making me too warm for indoor heating. While the dress wasn't revealing by nature? I couldn't wear it without showing too much skin. This happened due to a combination of 1) the dress closure being around the waist - which allowed my bust to be more exposed than I'd prefer, and 2) the dress having more fabric than my frame needed. It was just too long and too plentiful. And I ordered the small/petite variation. Having said that? This dress can be a wonderful robe, which is how I intend to wear it. ... show more

I really like the way this dress fits. It is a little large on the top so you either are a lot of cleavage (imo) or I'll need to see a seamstress to tighten it at the shoulders. If you are on the cusp of sizes, definitely size up. I got it in my normal size, and it fits but is a little snug. It'll do for the family photos this year.

This dress has no way to keep the front half (chest area) closed without the friction of the bow across the waist. I was hoping for a tiny button like most dresses to secure the front better. Also where the bow is tied there is no fabric loop to help keep the bow in place (as an option). The sash ties THROUGH the dress instead of on the outside of it make this a true wrap dress. It seems a bit risqué to have literally the only thing keep this on around you is one bow you personally tie around your waist. I love the color, the material is lined both inside and out with satin. The arms have light elastic at the openings. There is full coverage in the back. This might wear best with body shaping to keep lines from showing through the fabric. ... show more

I love the coloring of this dress and bought it to wear this holiday season. This year will be the first Christmas photo to include our new puppy and I adore the cut and color of this dress. I think it will make for a really cute family photo if my partner wears a cream sweater and my puppy sports a red bandana. The fit is surprisingly comfortable, considering the flannel doesn't have any give. I wish it came in more extended sizes but the largest does fit around a size 18. ... show more

This dress is very fun and festive. I will definitely be wearing it during the holidays. It fits true to size and I love how it fits everywhere except the sleeves are a little awkward on me. I think they are supposed to be 3/4 length sleeves but they are a little long for that, but too short to be long sleeves. I’m going to tighten the elastic around the bottom of the sleeves so no can push them up and make them stay in place. Other than that it’s perfect. My measurements matched a medium on top and a large on bottom, so I ordered a large. It fits well in the skirt, but the bodice is a bit big (as expected based on the size chart). It's a peasant-style top, so that wouldn't be a big issue, BUT the elastic waistband sits much lower on me than expected (and I have a long torso). So when I shift it up to sit where it should, that already-a-bit-big top looks even bigger. I think I can get away with it, but if you have a shorter torso and are pear-shaped like me, know that it might be an issue. ... show more
