Gumout Starting Fluid helps engines start in all types of extreme weather, while conditioning fuel and engine parts to prevent friction and corrosion. Engines need the right conditions to perform properly. If temperatures drop too low, gasoline can have problems evaporating, making it harder to burn. Extreme humidity can also have an effect on fuel's performance. Gumout's Starting Fluid starts gasoline engines instantly, and is best used for fast, smooth starting in all weather conditions, helping extend the life of engine parts. Directions: See your vehicle owner’s manual for special instructions for your vehicle. Spray directly into carburetor, air cleaner or air intake for a few seconds, then start engine. Do not flood engine before using. In order to prevent a backfire, do not start engine with air filter off. Do not use while engine is running. Misuse of product can result in personal injury. Use only per label directions. Not for diesel fuel.

I used a single spray of this on my 2-strone gas-powered generator because it is extremely difficult to start, especially in the winter, and even if the unit is kept warm inside prior to using. This product was able to allow me to start the generator in 1 or 2 pulls. It should be noted that this isn't a "proper" method, as it can cause long-term damage to the generator, but if you are in a pinch (which is the only time I use it), then it is fantastic.
