The overall fit and feel of the boot felt good to my husband. however we were highly disappointed to learn the boots weren’t waterproof as advertised. Expect water to come in when in just about 2/3 inches of water. Even if they don’t leak immediately after purchase, they start to shortly after wearing them a few times. ... show more

I use these all during turkey season and never had a problem. Waded through multiple creeks and up and down lots of hills. It did take a little bit to get them broke in but it wasn't bad. Just a FYI. these are not insulated. If you are looking for a boot that will keep your feet warm, these are not gonna do it. These are made more for spring - early fall. I would not use them for a cold hunt come November. I would buy again when I wear these out. ... show more

    • Somebody knows boots!
Finally tried these. Very comfortable on first try, easy to get on and off with the zipper. It just popped into my head, "Somebody knows boots!" because these things are really designed well, the lace hooks are very very easy, and the laces are long enough to wrap around your ankle twice (wrap and tie in front). I don't know a lot, but it seems to me these guys thought of everything, carefully. All boots are awkward due to the high heel and ankle enclosure, but these do not rub (sore) anywhere - I have thin skin so I'm a good test subject. Really like them, but note that I don't wear boots often (I had a pair at boys camp when I was a kid, and the D___ things put holes in my feet so I took them off and went barefoot; then I got another pair that were really hard to get on and off; had cowboy boots once that were good, but also hard to get on and off; these here are easy, and comfortable). ... show more

Fit is true to size, wear a size 10 boot and ordered a size 10. Zipper seems strong. The key to side zip boots is to only use zipper with unlaced boots to help you put on/ take off the boots - you still should then lace/ unlace every time. Will take some breaking in. Played with lace tightness to address ankle discomfort. The shoelaces are way too long for my foot/leg fit. They’re 100” long. I replaced with 84” Ironlace shoelaces. ... show more

    • Comfortable boots.
I live in south Louisiana where every tree stump has its own cotton mouth. Sure enough less than a month and I saw one within 6’ and directly in my path. He did not get a chance to strike before catching a case of acute lead poisoning but I will be wearing these boots every time I go into the woods.
