Okay, here’s the deal. The other reviewers are right. Super poor overlay material over the gorgeous satin of the skirt. It gets caught and rips like Halloween spider-webbing. Struck me as downright dangerous as a matter of fact. Our solution to that headache was simply trimming that off on day 3 of our little Elsa wearing it non-stop when it started looking super ratty. Do I wish I had kept looking for a different dress? No. Does she care? Not in the least. She still has a beautiful Elsa dress and the satin underneath is standing up to a toddler size beating since she has worn it day in and day out for a solid month now. We wash it in the washer machine and hang it to dry when it looks too dingy. The point is she loves the tarnation out of this dress as and it was her best 3 year old birthday gift because it is definitely the most played with! Even with the skirt overlay issue, I’d buy this again in a heartbeat because it has brought her so much joy. She walks around threatening to freeze everything and everyone 🤣 The picture shows what it looks like after a month of day in day out wear and tear and after trimming off the overlay. I bought this in a 4-5T to correspond with my child’s clothing size with a little room to grow and she is able to put it on/ get it off all by herself which is a plus too! ... show more

    • Basically destroyed in about 6 months

The moment we received this dress I had concerns about the fabric used in construction, but couldn't find another my 4 year old daughter loved. Please note that we do not let her wear the dress outside. With the length of this dress my girl was constantly stepping on the bottom destroying the outer skirt fabric in a few short weeks. As a result I ended up cutting a few inches off to try and keep that from continuing. Not too long afterwards she managed to rip the outer skirt layer half way up the dress so I cut that part off completely. Next, one of the gems on the top fell off and since they were all attached together I had to resew them all back on. Now we are six months after purchase and she has managed to put a hole in the silky material of the skirt at about shin level. My only option now is to either cut the skirt to knee height or toss it out all together. Still on the fence on which way I will go on that. I wish there were other options with better material choices and better construction that didn't cost an arm and a leg when you know the kid will eventually destroy it. Oh well, she enjoyed it while it lasted I guess. ... show more

My four year old loved this dress and it was by far her favorite Christmas gift, but she’s now in tears because nearly the entire outer skirt has shredded off, the inner skirt is separating from the top and the rhinestones are falling off left and right.
