So I originally thought this was going to be a tiny bottle of the Gucci bamboo perfume, by the looks of the photos but it's a fairly large sized bottle so that was a pleasant surprise. I used to love the Gucci eau de toilette 2 but can't find it anywhere so just got this at a discounted price and I'm very happy with it. It's kind of a deep soft smell. Perfume is hard to describe unless it has distinct notes. It's not musky. No vanilla (as far as I'm aware because I don't like musk or vanilla scents). It's got higher scent markers. I guess it smells like bamboo, if this is what bamboo smells like. If you're into floral or clean scents you'll like this. It also lasts a very long time but tapers off. No leaks. No damage. I mean it is Gucci perfume so... Some of the high end perfumes gag me out with it's strength or musk so I'm happy this one is on the lighter side and smells great.

If you wanna catch attention with a scent, this is it. Might be a bit funny, but I actually have this because it smells so dang good. I actually was in a errrr… gentleman’s club (?) and had to ask the dancer what the scent was because it was captivating… anyhow phenomenal scent. Trust me, it’s the best. I, personally, have an extremely acute sense of smell, I KNOW good smells and take notes of any I like. Everyone I have introduced this to has LOVED it.

I wasn’t sure about buying a high end designer perfume from amazon, but I decided to go for it. When I received it I was a little suspicious because of the color of the bottle. I couldn’t find anything online about this specific perfume, just how to spot a fake in general. So I bought another bottle directly from Macy’s website for about $120 to compare. Well, surprisingly, the bottle from Macy’s came in a slightly damaged box, but is otherwise exactly the same. Same design, same size, same lining inside, same materials- everything. They both pass all the general requirements (matching code on bottom of box and bottle, sealed neatly in clear plastic, etc.) The difference in color is very slight but I tried to show it in pics. It’s not just the lighting hitting them oddly. I switched them around and took another pic to show the one from Macy’s looks darker no matter how I place them. The most important thing is that they smell the same and they definitely do, so in my opinion this is genuine and I will be purchasing designer perfume from Amazon in the future knowing I can trust that it’s authentic and for a much better price. It’s very important however, to purchase directly from Amazon (shipped and fulfilled by Amazon)! Not from a third party seller on Amazon! On a side note - this perfume (both bottles) burns on my skin when I spray it on my neck immediately after a shower, turning my skin bright red. I have very sensitive skin though and most of the time it’s fine.
