I have tried many cheaper brands and they all made my skin itchy. Groove life uses medical grade silicone and that must be the difference because my skin never itches when I wear the groove life rings. I do water fitness 3 times a week and my groove life ring stays secure with just enough stretch ability to take it off when needed. It’s a bit more expensive than the others but well worth the investment- especially if you are concerned about skin irritation. Lastly, it just feels like a higher quality material than the others. This ring feels sturdier than my previous silicone rings by Enso. It rolls less and is a little thicker. Sizing is spot on, but as with all silicone rings it stretches over time. I got a size 6 which was snug on me at the beginning and is now slightly loose after several months of wear. The grooves help to dissipate water well, I am washing my hands all day working in health care, no problems with putting on or taking off gloves. Would buy more from this brand but wish they had plain silver or gold looking bands as well. I purchased Pewter which is more of a metallic olive color. It's fairly neutral with pretty metallic swirls, but clashes with my light grey and silver watch. The name "Pewter" implies more of a grey tone. Not super flattering on my skin tone. ... show more

After buying the other GL models I came across this one. The material is much better and softer than the peinted ones. Online color is accurate. They last much longer. I was replacing my husband's every couple of months until he switched to one like this.

This is a great silicone ring. I like the quality and the way it looks. Matt finish ,not not cheap glossy finish. I have had other silicone rings that felt like rubber bands. My ring size is 5.5 and I ordered a size 6, the fit is perfect.
