There was a design flaw but we dealt with it... the mesh on the face was designed so the glasses frame for the red glowing eye could Velcro open and put the glasses through and the face could Velcro back when you didn't use the red eyes.. well it was off center so that threw the face off, if you used the glasses and it made the mask look weird.. we just cut a whole big enough for the glasses to poke through on the one side and the Velcro still worked just fine on the other side... the main thing was My 16 year old son thats 6' 1" 150lbs, loved the Grim Reaper Costume with the red eye in the dark. it scared a bunch of people as he was walking from house to house getting candy and I drove with my wife in our Jeep and cracked up laughing as kids and people would get scared then laugh when they seen him.. he got a lot of complements on the out fit.. so I want to say thank you.. just maybe make sure the face is set up right.. But over all he loved it, and we all got a kick out of it... Oh, one other thing. it was very cold here, its almost always cold here every Halloween any more, it use to be nice and warm but the last 20 years its been very cold.. well the costume was big enough he could wear his Carhartt jacket underneath and stay nice warm, as it was 41° F. outside when we left the house and 37° F when we got home... ... show more

I used this, a wing cloak also from Amazon, and some ostrich feathers I attached to a headband to become Mothman for halloween. People were impressed by the glowing eyes, though I wish there were an option to keep them on all the time. For the price, it's pretty good.

As others have said, it’s inexpensive so you get what you pay for. The large is perfect for my 5’10” 160lb 13 year old. All the parts came with it but the glasses are missing a red diffuser lens. it’s a creepy costume so my son doesn’t care. I thought they were broken but the glasses must just turn on and off as part of being scary. I like that you can take out the center of the mask (velcro) if you wanted the face uncovered or wanted to put on scary face paint. Defiantly will work. ... show more

Costume as described. The hood and glasses worked perfectly. The hood has netting so you can see out but people can't seed your face. The glasses actually have lights, (located below your eyes, so you can still see), and the lights are shaped like eyes, that light up red and glow, then fade, then light up again. Spooky looking. The only thing is that when the glasses light up and glow, I was a little bit blinded and couldn't see until the light faded again. The costume is flimsy but I'm sure it will last for several more wearings. The hood is actually well made. It was a great costume, don't forget to buy a scepter! ... show more

This was really great for the price! Fit as expected and the material is super lightweight. My only complaint is that the red eyes don’t actually look like eyes.. They are on the outside corners of your eyes, so it actually looks better without them on. The eyes also don’t stay on, they fade in and out. ... show more

The costume was great. The glasses were cheap. They worked but I had to modify them to get them to align correctly. Also had to glue them back together. Otherwise not bad.

Appreciated the belt made it possible for someone that normally wears a men's small to fit this men's large costume. The belt held the extra length up. The reason I'm giving it a 3 was it arrived with one of the eye pieces popped out. It still functioned but we had to glue it in place and when it was lit up you could see where we had glued it.
