This garland is made of plastic that is very similar to the very thin plastic bags you get at grocery stores like Walmart. The garland arrives compacted in a box that is 5-1/2 inches square. Like the listing description states, the garland will be quite flat when you first take it out of the box. You will need to fluff up each pom pom - one by one - in order to get them round again. This takes quite a bit of time - since each string of garland contains 30 pom poms. I ordered the garland in white so I can use it for any holiday or party (white goes with everything). The garland I received is white, but it has a pink tint to it towards the center of the pom poms. It is not pure white, as I expected it to be. You can see the pink tint in my photos. Once you have taken the time to fluff up all 150 pom poms, the garland does look decent, and the pom poms are soft to the touch. While taking the garland out of the box and fluffing it up, there are lots of bits and pieces of the plastic fall off. I like that you can use the 5 garlands separately in different places of a room, or you can use them all together to make a thicker garland. At just over $3 for each garland, the price for this set is okay - maybe just a bit high for what this is. I was hoping to have a garland to add to our holiday decor supplies to use again and again. I plan on storing each garland in a ziptop bag and squeezing all the air out of the bag to make them flat. Then, when I want to use them, I can just open the bag and re-fluff the pom poms. Hopefully this garland will hold up over time - I guess we'll see. Overall, this garland will give the look I was after and it is decent quality for what it is.

Ok, first let me start off by saying that I didn't read the description before purchasing. I saw cute fluffy ball garland that is perfect for decorating for Valentine's Day. I thought these would be, well, fluffy pom like balls, not the plastic (trash bag look) balls. My first thought was, what is this? I don't want this, it's awful. However, I started to fluff them out into the ball shape and I was pleasantly surprised. Super easy to fluff out and they are really cute. The colors are great, I went with the mixed colors. I plan on hanging these across my white boards in my classroom and love that I have 3 different colors, vs just plain light pink, white, or dark pink. I'm not sure how these will hold up, like will it be for 1 year or more? My guess is it would depend on how you plan on using them. For me, hanging them up for 1-2ish months, I think I can probably get a few years of use out of them. I like different things and to stand out from everyone else. I believe these garland balls will do just that. While they were not exactly what I expected (because I didn't read the description), they are still going to look great hanging up in my classroom. One picture showed twisted the 3 strands together and that looks really cute, however, I only ordered 1 pack and 5ft is not long enough for what I want to do. Would also make an adorable border around a bulletin board as well.

Picture a white garbage bag into little shavings and then tied together to make a "puff ball" Thats what these were. A white plastic puff ball garland. I did hang them up and use them as intended, but due to them being crammed in the box the way they were, most of the "puff" look wasn't there. They got smushed and so the balls looked flat. I'm sure them being out of the box and have a time to regain some poof, they may come out looking as they should. Not really upset but not overall happy with these. You can't tell from afar what they really look like, but I would not get any more of these.

I guess 5ft sounds longer than it is? These just felt so short. They were cute, but because they weren't long I had a hard time figuring out where to put them for decorating. They sort of looked lame by themselves on a wall when I twisted them together. I do appreciate that they have plastic circles at the ends which can easily be hooked onto nails/etc. for decorating. Or they could even be taped. They can be reused easily and did not fall apart at all so that's a great plus. Just not as grand to decorate with as I'd hoped.

When I saw how these came packed, I was a little nervous that they would be flat. They were super easy to fluff and I did follow the instructions on the listing. All three took about 5 minutes to fluff up and each string has loops at the end which makes it even easier to hang these decorations. We used these as fillers in a balloon arch and they added the perfect texture to the balloon arch. They are super easy to store and we will be keeping them for future parties and Valentines decorations.

This garland is bright white in color and very soft to the touch. The pom poms are made of plastic like soft grocery bags separated by little clear plastic straws. They are very lightweight and hang easily but the more you handle them they begin to shed little plastic shavings all over. They look nice hung up but a closer look and they look like plastic decorations. They are nice for disposable decorations.
