Finding dresses that are modest but not "little house on the prairie" is really HARD. I wanted the perfect "casual French market" dress that was lightweight for summer, cute print without being too "homely" floral. Yah, I'm really particular. #storyofmylife This dress is great!! Pros: Cute, but not "country summer. Elevated floral print that is not loud, but has color and feels grown up, with a touch of vintage but not a "dated 90s" vintage feel. The chest is generous, not too tight, but actually nicely shapely. I tried it with a belt, but actually like it better sans belt. Size: I got a small. I'm a 34D, 27R jeans, 5'6, about 128lbs, 39 hips. Cons: Yes, this is a wrinkle mess. You'll need to steam or iron it. I feel $45 for an Amazon dress is expensive. But I just spend the weekend trying on all of Anthropologie and JCrew and OldNavy and scouring thrift stores. (Why is everything these days rocking the MASSIVE PUFF sleeves? I personally, am not living in an Edwardian fantasty or trying to be Anne of Green Gables.) This is actually really nice, and it modest without making you feel unattractive. I am 5' 3" and 170 lbs. I normally wear a size L dress, which is what I ordered. This dress was tight on my arms near the elbow (tight elastic), bust (bodice is not flexible or tailored), and hips (needed more gathers at the waist because my hips filled out the whole top tier of the skirt). I think an XL might have been too large on me, though. I'm chalking this up to just a bad match between the cut of the dress and my body shape. I plan to keep this dress. It's a pretty color and style. The material is very thin. I always wear a slip, so I'm not worried about it being see through, but it will only be for warmer weather. The top and sleeves seem too large. The waist is a little too small, but if I sized up, the top part of the dress would be much too big. It may be good if you are larger busted or have large arms. I wouldn't mind it being just a bit longer. The length is mid-calf but I like flowy dresses to be a little longer than that. And it is flowy, which I like. Don’t buy it! I once wore it and got a tear on the sleeve. As someone whose clothes last forever, the idea of wearing a dress once and throwing it away was never a reality for me. It was a waste of money.

This dress is so, so cute! I'm 5'6, 150 lbs and it's about tea length on me. It fits nearly perfect, I got a medium. The only part that is a little big is around the top in the back...seems a little baggy back there but thankfully doesn't look that way. The material is so nice, rayon always lays nice if you steam it. The color and pattern/print are so pretty. Very feminine. Very comfortable, cannot wait to wear it! ... show more
