If you ride a motorcycle, you know how difficult it is to find good quality protective pants that ALSO fit well. They generally either feel like you're wearing a parachute filled with lasagna or like you're trying to win gold in a ballet dancing competition. Look no further! These pants feature a heavy, soft cotton, with genuine Kevlar stitched in. The protective lining covers exactly where they say it does. The stitching is excellent, the belt loops are nice and wide, and the internal pocket material is good quality. There are quality brass snaps on the side and rear pockets, and the brass tac stud closure and metal YKK zipper put the icing on the cake. It even has a zipper on the back where you can zip it to your jacket, but I use belt loop snaps for my jacket. The armor is average (I wear Bohn Armor under my Kevlar, so I didn't need the included armor). The overall fit will depend on your specific build, but I'm 5'9" 175, and got the 34/32, and it fits me perfectly. The butt is a little roomy for my scooty patoody, but a belt solves this problem easily so I don't look like a plumber hard at work every time I bend down. These pants seem well made, and fit according to size chart, which is really saying something for riding gear!. The biggest pro for these pants is the fit! I tried several different styles of riding pants, cheap and expensive, and none have accurate size charts. All the others seem like they are meant for bean pole basketball players who love skinny jeans. These pants fit my short and stocky frame, and do not look painted on. They have a removable pouch for the knee pads so you can adjust where those sit inside the pant leg. This design was the key for me as a vertically challenged individual. Prime try before you buy was great as well, as I was sick of shelling out the cash only to return another pair of weird sized pants. I had a feeling these were too good to be true. I ordered my normal waist size (32) and it fit fine without belt. But the pant legs are absolutely massive, reminding me of the ultra thick, long, and baggy pants worn by firefighters. I’m 5’8” with a somewhat athletic build and it would take a LOT of alterations to make these not look like clown pants on me. Missing the front button with no indicator that it ever had one in the first place, stitching coming undone out of the box, asymmetric pant legs and come a size too small. I wouldn’t be surprised if a strong wind made this fall apart while you’re riding.
