Let me start by saying I wasn't so sure about the barrel leg trend, but now that I've tried them I realize this style is fantastic for curvy women. I'm over 50 too. Trends don't really matter anymore for jeans, anything goes. These jeans will make you feel like a million bucks. The sizing is right, the material is great. They are stretchy but it isn't the type of denim that will pill. I wore them for the first time today to a festival. I ran around all day and I was comfortable. No break in required. They look really cute with the bottom rolled up too. I bet this style will work for all figures. Try them! ... show more

I can’t say it enough, I’m OBSESSED with these pants. They fit so well and go with just about anything. They’re stretchy, a good length, and hug curves in the best way. The material is nice with cute details on the side and the zipper glides perfectly. I’m telling you, run, don’t walk to buy these!

I really wanted to love these GRAPENT barrel jeans. I’ve purchased this brand before in a different color and material and assumed the sizing would be consistent—but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. While they technically fit, the proportions just didn’t work as well for me, and I ended up returning them. That said, there are a lot of good things going for these jeans. The denim is pleasantly stretchy and comfortable, not stiff or overly structured, which makes them easy to move in and great for all-day wear. The high waist is flattering, and the seam details and barrel-leg shape definitely give them that trendy, fashion-forward look. For me personally, the cropped barrel style was the challenge. I have shorter legs, and barrel jeans can be tough to pull off without feeling a bit awkward proportion-wise. These just didn’t sit the way I hoped they would, visually—even though they felt fine wearing them. If you’re taller or already know barrel jeans work for your body type, these could be a great option. They’re soft, flexible, and versatile enough to dress up or down. Just a heads-up that if you’re buying multiple colors or fabrics, the fit may vary slightly—and for shorter-legged folks, this style can be a bit of a gamble. ... show more

Love love love these jeans. Bought them in almost every color. Comfortable, slightly stretchy, runs on the looser side which is great for barrel jeans. The only pair I didn't like was the dark blue with the yellow stitching... they fit weird and aren't as comfy as the others... and the yellow stitching looks... meh... but I can't say enough for the leopard ones though! Light weight with some stretch, looser in the waist than ideal but hey better to wear a belt than need new pants if I gain a lil. Plenty roomy in the butt and thighs which has been my struggle.
