We played the game at a friends house and knew right away we needed our own game. I immediately ordered one for ourselves and took it to our Christmas Eve family get together. We are a game playing family where the smack talk is as important as the game itself. This is a fast moving, easy to learn, engaging game that can be played with older children and adults. The enjoyment factor is higher because this game lends itself to smack talk, alliances between players, and paybacks (which can be viscous.) This is not a game that plays well with young children or the tender hearted as the success of one player is always at the expense of others.     • Literally one of the funnest games ive played in years
Honestly im not huge on card or board games. But we have all the classics at home, Skip-bo, Uno, Phase 10, CAH, etc. Ended up playing this with a family member and enjoyed it enough to order my own set. Honestly love it. Rules aren't too complex, and the strategy can be hard to nail down as all it takes is one person to decide to upend whatever you works all game to build. Honestly, feels as if nothing really matters too much, as 90% of the games i've played have been decided in the last 2-3 rounds, where everybody has saved up their "wild" cards and completely changes the tides of the game. So as far as a "strategy" game, I kind of would say its not. Sure you can use a strategy, plan carefully, etc but things to from everybody casually drawing cards and building decks the first 3/4 of the game, until suddenly it turns into a brawl with hands and decks changing hands almost every time someone has a turn to play their cards. Overall though its a blast, and i dont have the time to explain all the nuances of the game here. For the price it is, and without being able to say "its sort of like xxxx game, if you like that youll like this!" i would just honestly say buy it. Even not knowing a single thing about it, I would still say take the blind leap and get it ... show more
