The back of the dress is about 1" above my knees. The blue velvet is so soft! I kind of want to wear this dress everywhere. I love that the gathered material covers my belly. The only thing I would note is the back piece of material is straight cut so there's no gathered material to hide extra lumps back there. Nothing a pair of biking shorts or spanks won't fix. And honestly with the velvet finish, it's not that bad but just something to note! Would highly recommend!

I bought this dress in the multicolor and it fit amazing, loved it, and got so many compliments I wanted to order it in another color so ordered the dark green with blue and green sequins this time. I was so disappointed when got this color that the straps are not adjustable like the ones were on the multicolor version!!? WHY?! It's a gorgeous dress but just beware some colors do NOT have the adjustable straps so you may be doing some altering to the straps!

I ordered this dress to wear to a wedding, and it’s so pretty. Originally I ordered a size down based on some of the reviews, however, when I received it, it was too small. I definitely recommend ordering your normal size and going by the measurement chart.

This dress worked great for going to a nice dinner and going dancing/clubbing after. I’m tall with thicker thighs and have trouble finding short dresses that fit right. There’s some stretch to it and I fit good in a medium but can fit a large as well. The large gave me a bit more of a conservative look but in an elegant way and the medium was a little shorter and fit my chest better with a good push-up bra (I’m 34b). I ended up going with the medium because I was looking for a shorter dress.
