This is an excellent petticoat for the price. There are two layers of a soft organza-like material each with three tiers of fabric. The bottom layer is a cheaper polyester lining, but it’s not as plasticy feeling as other lining fabrics I’ve seen. This petticoat is infinitely more comfortable than a stiff crinoline petticoat, but the fullness is more subtle. If you wanted a fuller look, I’d consider adding a narrow hoop skirt or doubling up on this. The Medium is 33.5in in length and it fits comfortably about an inch below my natural waist line. I have a 27in waist and I like a petticoat to be big enough that the elastic doesn’t have to stretch & feel tight, but it doesn’t fall down. This is perfect for a tea-length dress, it’s probably not long enough for a floor length dress if you’re wearing heels or if you’re taller. Tip: ironing out all the creases with steam on a lower heat setting really helped the petticoat expand. It’s a long process - it took me an hour to iron all 3 tiers of one layer!! I think once I iron out the 2nd layer, it’ll have a more dramatic effect ... show more

This tulle petticoat is beautiful. Such delicate tulle! It's perfect! I am very pleased with this brand and this garment because it has all the "pluses" needed to be a quality garment: excellent materials, excellent workmanship, beautiful design, true to size (I am 5'3" and weigh 135 lbs), and on-time delivery. This petticoat really gave my dress an extra special lift (fluffect), I'm 5'9" 230lbs and this petticoat came just below my knees and is great value for the money. Just know this...if you wear said petticoat in a warm climate you are going to want to tear it off before the festivities end 😅 I thought I was gonna die! I was at an office fuction where it was still hot in September in NYC. There was AC, but people were dancing and the temperature went up, and OMG it was all I could do NOT to run to the restroom and tear it off! 🤭 Seriously, it really IS beautiful, and fits (I have hips) nicely and WILL make your dress flare out lovely. Worth the price. It’s decently full and not nearly as scratchy or uncomfortable as anticipated. I read some reviews that said it runs small so I sized up to a medium from my normal xs/s. This is pretty- But it’s very hard to get the drawstrings to pull tight enough for how small my waist is, it consistently just undoes the Velcro rather than tightening. It’s scratchy- not comfortable. So keep that in mind. It’s also down to the floor, not quite as short as they made it seem. Works for ballgowns- not ankle length dresses. ... show more
