I took a chance with this dress only to end up loving everything about it! I ended up going up to a large instead of a medium (which I typically am) I probably could have gotten away with a medium but I enjoyed the extra room. The fabric was comfortable, not itchy at all. The length came just slightly above the knee and I LOVED how the back was longer. The price was more than I wanted to spend but this is a quality made dress that I can certainly wear multiple times. I don't leave reviews often, but I always read them! I ordered a few dress options as a guest for an upcoming wedding. The material of this dress is high quality- thick and slightly stretchy to hug your body. There's a hidden zipper, and the waist tie is removable. It is exactly as pictured!! Elegant and unique. I'm 5'4, 155lbs, typical 8/10, 36D, wearing a medium... I didn't find the drop waist as flattering as I expected, and I did end up returning it. While the dress is beautiful, I just wasn't crazy about the midsection fit on my particular body shape. But I wouldn't be against ordering this dress again, in one size bigger, to see if I liked it better! ... show more

Upon receiving my package, I wasn't too impressed as it came in a clear plastic bag, allowing others to see what's inside. It's a good thing I was home. Aside from that, I got the impression that my dress was a return for the following reasons. 1) The tag was tied around the designer's label. 2) I found a hair that was stuck in the side zipper. 3) One of the loops for the belt came detached. Best believe that I'm washing this dress throughly since it's too late for me to return for the event I'm attending. On the positive side, the dress is beautiful and fits like a glove. Even though I got a medium the neckline is a bit tight but it's not too uncomfortable. I'm sure it's a fix with some stretching. Additionally the fabric is soft and stretchy.
