They work for me. Time will tell if they hold up. I have only used 2 times for about 1-2 hrs each time. Soft wet snow sinks in quite abit. With Gun and gear on I would guess 215 lbs. I am around 185 lbs. So you may wish to error on the side of larger size to avoid sinking if using on soft wet snow.

Overall, this is a good product for the cost and they work well once you get the hang of it. As a first-time snow-shoer, it would have been nice if the product came with clearer instructions on how to tighten them or if the included instructions at least didn't contain spelling errors.

The snowshoes seem decent for the price. My son’s size 12 pack boot can strap in on the 30 inch size. But the carry bag arrived with a huge rip on the seam. The bag material seems less sturdy than you get with sharp reusable shopping bags.
