It says they’re dishwasher safe but they curl and make them difficult to use if you do put them in the dishwasher. I’ve only had the one in this picture a few months and it doesn’t lay flat anymore. I will no longer use the dishwasher! Hand wash only! That said, these are great for food prep! I will continue buying them and using them. I do wish I didn’t have to buy them so often though. I keep my knives sharp and use them every day so they get worn out and I need to buy new about every six months. But this brand is my favorite. It’s less flimsy than most.

I bought as a replacement for cutting boards that slid around and has cut marks. These hold up much better. Great size to cover my wooden cutting board. They do slide though not much and only when quite wet. Wash easily, dry quickly. Recommend to buy.

I have had these cutting mats about 2 weeks. And so far I am very impressed. I say that because I had previously bought another brand from Amazon & THE DAY I bought them my knife cut right through the mat. All of them are like that, broken in the middles where my knife sliced right through. I cook all the meals during the day so in those 2 weeks these mats have seen a lot of action. When I bought these new mats I felt the price was right but was leary that because of that price they'd be flimsy & I'd have the same problem as before. These did surprise me though. They are flexible & VERY easy to wash, the knife does not pierce through at all, I use a very sharp knife to cook with & yes it did leave some very MINIMAL cut lines but nothing like the mats I was using. Also, the mats I had before had a course texture on both sides so they would grab on to my washing cloths & have little pieces of cotton all over them after I washed them so I'd have to go through & pick all of that off, these have smooth sides with a textured side (squares) on the back for grip. And so far if the mat isnt wet the gripping side does grip well. I also really like that they are marked so you know which cutting board to cut meat, fish, veggies, they also have a small cutting board included for smaller things like nuts or Lemons. I would recommend these for sure.

The “grip” these claim to have, are weak. They slide all over our island when they’re used. The flexibility is the only thing that’s good about these cutting boards. If you don’t mind them not staying in place, these are okay.

My bamboo cutting board came with silicon mats, but they were thin and flimsy and didn't fit into the area made to hold them, I had to trim down every single mat. These mats are thick, sturdy and fit perfectly in the 12 x 15 area on the cutting board. These are the best cutting mats I have encountered so far and plan to order more to keep in reserve.
