I got this for a 10 year old boy who is very big. It fits him well. He loves to play dress-up and this was a hit! He thought it was hilarious! Even little sisters who are much smaller were able to wear it and play around in it, but it didn't fit them very well. They had a great time! The fabric is very thin and i worry that it won't hold up to rough play for very long, but so far it is doing well. If it lasts a couple of months, it'll be worth the price in my opinion! The motor blows it up very quickly and he figured it out without help. This fits child size 14/16 with room to grow, and would fit up to a small adult.

First the things that are not ideal: The length of the legs is less than the adult human, and I knew that looking at the pictures. What I did not fully appreciate is how the shorter legs would limit mobility. Is it a deal breaker? No. But it did catch me off guard. The fan on the costume is located near the hip, facing out/up. Normally, this would be fine - but when I went out in this, it was below freezing in Wisconsin and I had to wear my jacket. The issue here is that my jacket would cover the fan and it would start to deflate, so I had to move my jacket to get air ... and then I got cold. Now for the good / surprising stuff (note that I bought 5 different ones, 1 for each member of my family) - The material is very thin. I was worried that they would rip either from the kids walking, or the rocks on the side of the road. Neither of those thing happened. Note that we only wore these for about 45 minutes bc of the extreme cold. I noted that I bought 5 - and all 5 worked as promised. Given the packaging and materials, and my personal history, I was ready to exchange at least one. I was pleasantly surprised. If my experience is anything like yours - be ready to be stopped. People loved my toddlers in them. At their daycare, people were taking pictures of them. Kids asking to be have pictures taking with them. My wife and I were confused at first, but it happened a few times... so I guess be ready to be the center of attention! ;)
