Description

The Goodyear Assurance All-Season is a passenger tire specially designed for drivers who want year-round traction, comfort, and excellent value. Ideal for family sedans and minivans, the Goodyear Assurance All-Season does well in all seasons including winter weather. Its tread was engineered to be strong and durable as noted by its 65,000 mile tread life warranty. On the road, it creates multiple biting edges required during wet, dry, and snowy conditions. Enhancing this further are the wide tread grooves which drain water efficiently out the tires while enhancing wet traction. For reliable handling on wet and dry roads are the large stable shoulder blocks. To provide you a comfortable ride even when travelling at long distances is the optimized tread pattern.

  • Wheels are all I need
This tire is indestructible, I ran over a curb and I’m still going 100 mph.

  • Noisy - impossible to claim warranty – only 20k miles.
I acquired these Goodyear tires for my great grandmother, a spirited and active 86-year-old who never seems to stay in one place. My decision was influenced by the 50,000-mile warranty, thinking it would provide added assurance if they wore out prematurely. Our vehicle, a Subaru Forester, experiences moderate driving habits, with my great grandmother as the primary but highly active driver. She travels extensively, even making trips all the way to Florida (from Maine), showcasing her remarkable vitality. In an effort to assist her, I opted for these tires. She diligently takes her car for alignments, ensuring it's well-maintained, and the tires are rotated during oil changes. However, despite the meticulous care, the tires wore out surprisingly early, at around 20,000 miles, and by 25,000 miles, three of them had already reached the wear markers. Seeking recourse through the warranty, we visited a Goodyear dealer. Unfortunately, our claim, amounting to $707, the purchase price (exclusive of labor and return shipment costs), was denied on the grounds that one tire measured at 3/32 instead of the specified 2/32, and all four tires must exhibit uniform wear. This requirement appears excessively stringent and, in practical terms, nearly impossible to meet. Consider this a cautionary note for potential buyers. ... show more

  • To months after purchase and I’ve had a flat tire that’s not fixable.
The tires look good on my vehicle. I Purchased the Tires’s and had the dealership put them on my car. However, two months later, one of them has a puncture that’s not fixable. This has never happened to any tires, in my many years if driving, so I’m very surprised that this has happened.

  • They don’t last…
I purchased four of these tires on January 14, 2022. Since that time, two have gone flat and when taken to a tire shop for inspection, there has been nothing in the tire that should have caused it to become flat. The Yokohama tires i had on my car prior to this drove for 50k miles with no issues. I’ve only put 30k on these and I’m going to have to replace them all. I don’t feel safe driving on them. It seems that every time the temperature changes drastically I get an unexplained flat…and not just low pressure….totally flat. I’m so disappointed with this purchase and I’ll not buy Goodyear again. As a mother with a small child in the car, I purchased because I knew the brand and expected a safe product. I’m not sure what’s happened to Goodyear, but I no longer associate the name with safety. So disappointing. ... show more
