I purchased this device in the middle of winter, but the outside temperature was too cold for me to install it. However, I finally managed to install it, and now I can see inside my bed, even with the tonneau covers. For a beginner, the installation process is moderate due to the need to hide wiring and determine a power source. I found the wires were a bit short as they used a specific secure connector. Although the adhesive was strong enough to hold the device in place, I secured it with brackets just in case. ... show more

These are so easy to install and they provide very bright lights for my truck bed! The tape on the bag sticks well (make sure to clean the surface very well and use alcohol). This was my second time installing lights in a truck bed - learned a lot the first time, but I also found this to be a better product than what I used last time. A word of advice that I received before my first install was very helpful - always make sure to layout everything and basically do a dry-run to test functionality before actually running the wires. The media could not be loaded. These lights really light up the back of the truck! I installed them myself, it was a bit of a challenge. I tapped into the 7 pin RV connection which has an always on 12V wire. The adhesive for the lights works good, I also used a zip tie on the ends where power connects. I do a lot of early morning and night time fishing and its very difficult to see in my bed to gather my gear and suit up for the trip. I installed these bed lights and its the best thing I could have done. They work great, easy to install and really put out a lot of light to see everything in the bed. Installed in Ford Maverick bed. Installation was straight forward and easily wired into provided 12v accessory connector in bed corner. Illuminates the bed nicely at night. clean install mounting under the bed rail. Just be sure to use some alcohol to clean/prep surface prior to adhesion.
