For the price, you get a great little compact, "emergency" backpack for the price that folds into itself so you can store it in a car glove box, in other luggage or another backpack, etc. I just received the bag about a week ago, after purchasing as a lightning deal for a little less than $10. We took it to my daughter's softball tournament as an extra bag, as we carry a bunch of miscellaneous "stuff" to these all day tournaments. I had my camera, a canon 70d with 70-200mm lens (mentioning this, as this combo makes for a pretty large and long piece of equipment, but no dedicated camera bag. It was very windy, and the dirt from the infields was blowing all over the place, so I used this backpack to keep my expensive camera an lens out of the dust. It worked great, and carried the heavy camera an lens with no issues, even though this is NOT a large backpack. It is great that it has places for water bottle and extra compartments, though I haven't used either, yet. There is little to no padding on this bag, which I could see being an issue if you were to carry anything with hard edges for an extended period of time, but sacrificing the bulk of padding to have a nice little bag in reserve is well worth it - I would never have this bag as a primary, everyday backpack. So, if you want a cheap little reserve bag, I would not hesitate to buy this bag.

The bag is so lightweight, but feels sturdy at the same time. It holds a lot: for practice, I put in a fleece sweater (rolled & held with a rubber band, a thermal/long underwear top, a full-size pair of binoculars, and a plastic sandwich box. There was room for more. I'm 4'10" tall and it fit me comfortably. I wish I had been able to have this years ago. Some might find it a downside that I think it's difficult to fold & pack it up into its little pocket and the result doesn't look like the nice flat purse in the advertisement. But I see no need to ever pack it up at all--I will use it as is laying flat.

This is a light, packable backpack. I appreciated the 2 water bottle holder spots on the sides. The ventilated straps kept it from getting too hot on my arms. It was nice to have a small pocket on the front. Plus, the packing pouch serves as a pocket on the inside, when the backpack is in use. It is durable and comfortable to wear/carry. It packs easily back into the attached zipper pouch and packs nicely into my luggage.

I am generally suspicious of cheaper products like this, but I did not want to spend the money on the better rated backpacks considering I only use this occasionally. I have to say I’m happy with this purchase. This backpack is comfortable, lightweight, balanced, and a good design. Other reviewers have said it is not waterproof but I don’t intend to be walking in the rain with it so that didn’t matter to me. The clamshell design makes for easy access to contents. it only has one smaller inside pocket but that’s all I need anyway. It is exactly what I needed for less than 20 bucks. The stitching is not that great , but if anything comes loose, it looks like it will be easy to mend. Update: I went for a walk and was caught in light rain for 20 minutes or so. Everything in my pack ended up wet. Not damp - WET! The description says this pack is water resistant but the product does not even qualify as resistant - it was porous. I expected the items in the pack to be damp but not soaked. I'm leaving the rating at 4 stars because I do like the design and packability, and the price is good. But this is the backpack equivalent of 'fast fashion' and I don't expect it to hold up, plus I will make sure to use it only on sunny days.

We bought this to take on a trip to Italy last month. We knew the weather would be bouncing between warm and cool temperatures and wanted something light and easy to carry jackets and water in. It is so lightweight and comfortable, and yet we were able to fit water and four packable down jackets in it easily. No one minded carrying it because you hardly knew it was there. We were very happy with it. As soon as we got home, I put the backpack in our camper. It will be great to take along on hikes!

100% had to leave a review how awesome this backpack worked for our family in Europe. Each member of our family was allowed to bring a carry on and a backpack for their luggage. But, we needed something for everyday use while we traveled to various sites, not a large carryon backpack. Enter this sweet little bag. It folded up nice and compact into our luggage and was extremely useful for day to day travel. It was very comfortable on my husband’s shoulders and could house a surprising amount of stuff! Sweatshirts, water bottles, snacks, first aid kit, you name it, we packed it in there. We went to several museums and tourist spots and none had a problem with the size of this bag. Also, one museum required (for security purposes) my husband to wear the backpack forward on the front side of his body, but he had no complaints that it was uncomfortable. The backpack held up incredibly well throughout our two weeks. It was perfect and can’t wait to use it again!
