I thought that these were really neat looking flats and I’m always looking for her a comfortable flat shoe as I have a rather bad back that makes wearing heels difficult. The silver “leather“ is very soft, although I’m not sure it’s genuine leather, but I don’t think that there’s anyway for me to know that for sure anyway. The silver is a nice color and overall finish, although it does have a cloudy appearance in some areas, but it may just be a film on the material and I think it’s likely to come off with a gentle polish with a soft rag and or possibly wiping down with some water and gentle cleaning solution. The shoe has pretty structured soul inside as well as outside, but the inside one is not removable, which is unfortunate because I tend to like to put my own, insoles and shoes. If you want to be able to add an insult to this, I highly recommend ordering A size up (at minimum half a size, but a whole size would probably be necessary). For some reason, the place where the back of the shoe ends and touches the Achilles tendon area seemed to be uncomfortable and I’m not sure if it was rubbing or my skin was already irritated in that area. I ordered my regular size 9, which seems to fit comfortably otherwise, but I will likely add a heel pad to that area just to make it even more comfortable. I do hope that there is enough room when I do so as it fits comfortably as is, But I’m not sure how much extra room I’ll have due to the unusual cut of the front of the shoe. I do think it will be fine though. As far as the look of the shoe, I think they’re pretty cool looking although they are definitely an unusual style. So, if you like some thing that you’re not going to see everyone else walking around with, I would definitely recommend these flats. I’m not sure how they are going to wear, and I will try to update my review after I’ve worn them a bunch of times, but I suspect that a lot will depend upon the materials of the shoe and I suppose we’ll see if they are truly made of genuine, leather and not just a polyurethane-style leather, which is often referred to as leather unfortunately. Regardless, they are cool looking shoes and if the price point is right for you, despite whether they turn out to be genuine leather or a PU type leather, I’d say go for it and try them out.

The design and quality of the shoe is very nice though it had an odor that made me sick. The shoe runs so big, I'm not sure they are not men sized. I order my regular size, 9.5 which fits perfectly but I had about 1.5" or more room left in the heel and they fell off when I tried to walk. Broke my heart because I had been really looking forward to getting them. I checked the size on the box and inside the shoe and both were 9.5. They will be going back and I'm afraid to order another size. Not sure what's going on in the sizing dept. here. Wondering if they're sized for drag as a men's 9.5 would be about true for a man but need a lady size in these shoes.

Size: 8 Color: Silver I absolutely love these marvelous retro space-age shoes! They are lovely and striking. They remind me of a cross between I Dream of Genie, and some kind of swinging 60s retirement home key party, in the very best way! The extreme squared toe means that they have a wide toe box, but still manage to look slender and elegant. The insole is lightly padded. They look very well made. The only problem is that they run quite large. I typically wear an 8 or 8.5, depending on the brand. These are an 8 and my foot is swimming in them. Luckily, they have a knock-down back, so they can be worn as mules as well as backed flats, so I can still wear them, and they do still look great. But I would have much preferred to be able to wear them with the backs in place.

These shoes are surprising well made. Really good sole that feels comfortable. Funky little ballet flats give the feel of Tabi ballet flats. Size 39 usually fit me great, I ordered these in an 8 which is approximately a half size down and they fit perfectly.
