They also come apart easily. I thought I had broken them right out of the gate. Fortunately, they have a tiny hinge and go back together without too much effort. The gold was a good, authentic color. I ended up returning these. They were a nice pair of earrings and seemed durable and lightweight but I was expecting them to be much smaller than they were. For reference the pearls were about the size of a coffee bean.

Love these for everyday earrings. I wish the hoop was a bit smaller but they look very elegant for regular office wear. I don’t like taking off jewelry so these have been in the shower with me every day for a few months now and they have held up great. No chipping or turning weird colors so far
