I really like how this necklace looks and feels the moment I put it on. I love the gold cross, and it has that clean style that’s simple but still makes a statement, and the gold tone looks rich and warm without being flashy. Even though it’s gold-filled over silver, it honestly has the weight and drape I expect from a real gold chain, so it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. What stood out to me right away is the finish. The 14K gold-filled layer is much thicker than regular plating, and you can tell in the shine and texture. It lies smoothly against the skin, doesn’t snag, and hasn’t irritated my skin at all. I also appreciate the lobster clasp. it feels secure and easy to use, which matters when you’re wearing something daily. I like that this chain works for just about anything. Because it is not flashy you can wear it casually with everyday outfits, but it also looks polished enough to dress up. It’s one of those pieces that works equally well on its own or layered with other necklaces. The fact that it’s safe to wear while exercising or even in the shower gives me peace of mind, because I don’t have to constantly take it on and off. The packaging was a nice bonus too. This is a genuinely beautiful necklace and cross pendant. The design is elegant, the finish looks great, and while the chain is very thin, it still feels strong. As a piece of jewelry on its own, it’s quite attractive. The reason for the two‑star rating is simple: what I received looks nothing like the photos or the listing description. The product itself is nice, but it’s not the item that was advertised, and that mismatch matters when you’re buying based on the images provided. This is a good-looking thinnish chain with a gold cross. The advertisement says that this is “30% pure gold”. While I have no way to verify this, I have no evidence that it is not true. On the positive side, the chain hangs well and looks delicate yet classic. The cross appears to be well-made and has diamond-looking stones that add a nice touch. The advertisement makes no mention of the cross being included with this chain. The advertisement also says that this is “Figaro Chains” when it obviously is not. Yes, I had to look up what a figaro chain was. “Figaro chains have an alternating pattern (e.g., three short links, one long)”. This is clearly not a figaro chain. One of the pictures in the advertisement does show a figaro chain, while the other images more closely show what this chain looks like. Only one image shows a cross being present even though there is no mention at all anywhere in the description. This would be a good chain and cross on its own if the advertisement pictures and description were accurate. The images and the descriptions are misleading or confusing. ... show more

This gold chain is shiny, well made and looks beautiful. It’s a good basic jewelry staple. The length of this chain is great- it’s more of a medium length and the chain itself has three places to attach the clasp so it’s adjustable. The necklace is super dainty but well made and is stamped as 1/20 14k which means it is gold filled- but it has every appearance of regular 14k yellow gold. There is also a beautiful cross that also appears as if it is 14k but it isn't stamped anywhere that I could find. The dainty chain is perfect for bringing the focal point to the cross. ... show more
