Frame looks nice, but it holds the record through compression using fasteners at the back that slide into a channel in the frame. Mine arrive with that channel broken, which wasn’t noticeable until I cut the plastic. I returned it, and received a replacement which was also broken in the same fashion. Amazon isn’t allowing for a return of a return, so buyer beware; this is made of extremely brittle wood, obviously is frequently broken, and you might get stuck with it. Beyond that, the Frames matting is larger than the lip or album cover, and the compression provided by the frame isn’t sufficient to hold them in place - they slip. I’m currently working on secure the album and record in place using some kind of fastener that won’t have adverse effects on the record/album.

Took me a very very very long time to get the album from slipping. Couldn't get it like the picture advertised. Almost returned it. The frame is nice, but man what a drag. I had to basically tape it and use my own materials to prevent it from moving.

I had to use the dots to get the album to stay in place. It’s probably ruining the album but since I’m using it as art I don’t plan on using it anyway. I framed my femms on slash and it looks amazing! It’s a heavy frame with the vinyl. Use real picture frame hardware and not nails

Super easy to get your collector album into the frame and onto your wall. Just have to turn the spring clips to remove the back, take out printed paper, line up your cover and album, put the cover back in place, and reclip.... ready to hang. Looks great, too. The opening in the matte for the album cover could be cut a little bit better... it's slightly too large to make aligning the cover easy, but not small enough that the cover just drops into the opening. Not a big deal, but one area that could stand a minor tweak. Since the album I was displaying had clear vinyl, I had to put a backer in behind it so that I couldn't see the pressboard framer backer through the disc, but, again, not a huge deal. Overall, I think this frame is sturdy enough to hold up , looks great, and isn't unreasonably, priced.
