* The Helmet (G-Max GM11) seen here has been modified from its Original Look with Reflective High Viz.Tape for Safety. Good - There is nothing to dislike about this helmet other than the lenses for it are not quick Dis-connects, Instead they use affordable screws to save money. If you’re going to buy the helmet be sure to pick up the extra winter kit with the dual pane lens for anti-fogging, it Rocks ! Bad- The simple Pull Strap that is supposed to be on the Inner D-Ring of the Chin Strap was missing. This made removing the helmet too easy, making it Simi Un-Safe, so I found a small piece of Velcro For wire management to use as a tiny strap to pull back and it made it unable to release itself so easily when tugged on. (Without it it’s too easy to pull loose at the right angle) Overall- Superb Buy, well worth the investment. I would buy one again in a heartbeat if lost or stolen. ... show more

After moving from a GMAX GM54S the GM11D feels like a feather - That is my first impression. The helmet has great style and functions as well. I ride an Honda AT and have no wind buffet of the visor. As other have mention, the chin strap is in the wrong position and pushes into your neck, but this is acceptable for the price point. Second negative is the shield is not optically correct. I find that sometimes when looking through the shield I see slight distortion. But most of the time I ride with the visor up since my bike provide superb wind protection. The helmet is comfortable and the padding is tight but breaks in quickly. Ono note on the padding, if you have a slight beard then then expect the check pads to act like elcro when putting the helmet on and taking it off. I also insall my Sena SMH5FM and it fit and works great. I did have to buy a non-boom mic, but worth another $12. In final I have to say that I love this helmet b/c of the style and large viewing port. I feel like I'm not wearing a helmet when riding b/c I can see so much. My first choice and when I have the money will be an Aria XD4, but until then this GM11D fulfills all my needs. ... show more

Foir what it is and the low price it is a decent helmet. Have to knock off at least a star for NOT coming with pretty much the standard anymore drop down sun shade. Pretty inconvenient if you wera glasses as now you need to account for wearing some sort of sunglasses over your Rx glasses.

Didn't see too many reviews on this product so I gave it a shot and glad I did! The helmet fits perfectand I can wear my glasses while riding comfortably. Haven't used it too many times tho so as time goes on if it has any issues I will update.

1. Fits as expected 2. Visor is clear and has no visual obstruction (no warping) 3. Fairly quiet 4. FOGS BADLY AND DOES NOT VENT WELL... As far as fogging goes... This helmet sucks... It was 30 degrees out... Visor would fog with every breath... And would not clear even doing 60mph... While holding my breath waiting for it to clear... If you live some place cold... Don't buy this helmet... ... show more
