I've bought GVB Amanda jeans in black for work, and I loved them. I found a pair in dark blue in a store nearby too. But when I went on amazon to purchase other colors they were never available in my size. BUT, just recently I went in to check and I found these and a few other colors and I bought them. I Love these jeans. I'm not one to buy the low or below the waist jeans. They are not flattering on me. So when I found these I fell in love with them. They are soft, they have nice give, they fit to my waist, they are a tad long but they don't hit the ground when I wear sneakers. I'm 5' 4" and where regular length. My other GVB Amanda jeans have been washed in cold and dried in the dryer. I remove them right away and hang them up and they are not fading and are not wrinkled. Just don't buy all the size 14 jeans so there are still some left for me when I come back to get more. lol

These are the only jeans I can find that fit my shape. Most are cut too narrow in the upper thigh for me and these have that tiny bit of extra room I need. My only issue is pairs in the same size fit differently. I ordered 3 pair and one was too loose so into a hot dryer to shrink. One pair was a little tighter than I prefer and one fit perfectly. All are doable but the inconsistent sizing is frustrating. They wash great and truly last me for years. I wash in cool water and dry on low. They do stretch a little when wearing them. Waistbands are not tight and I have worn them dressed up with heels and very casually. I will keep purchasing even though there are sizing issues because this style fits me the best and they are comfy!

These jeans fit great. Slightly tight in the waist at first which relaxed into a wonderful fit after a hour or so. I love the color. I bought these jeans on sale and wish I had bought more in different colors during the sale price. I will check back again to possibly purchase a few more.

I love these classic fit Gloria Vanderbilt jeans. They have a very comfortable minimal stretch but look/feel like regular jeans. I bought them in white, light blue, sandstone (light beige), and black. I'm 5' 6 1/4" and the regular length is perfect w tennies, flats, sandals, even a small heel. I also have a couple pairs of the GV jean shorts. Oddly, in the shorts, I wear one size larger than in the full length jeans however, BOTH fit comfortably and perfectly. So, that was a quandry...? The fit in the leg of the long pant jean is narrow which I love and think is very slenderizing. But they're not too fitted like a skinny Jean or a jegging which I personally don't find attractive on any body type. They look well made and very well dressed for a jean. You can dress them up w a blouse and blazer or down w a t-shirt or crop top. Theyre just very good quality material. I almost took (2) stars off because of the price but I love these jeans so much I didn't have the heart. I feel certain if you're patient and willing to check weekly and wait for a sale, you could possibly buy them for considerably less at KOHL'S at certain times of the year. But, that would require add'l research and time that I'm not interested in investing right now.....I needed and wanted them NOW. They are an essential enhancement to any routine basic wardrobe that are a classic "must have", not a waste of $$$ on a poor quality trend....
