I love jeans. When I was in high school I mostly wore Levi's and Lee jeans, because that was what the cool kids wore. Later in life I branched out and became a fan of Guess and Jag jeans (before Jags changed to pull-ons). Within the last few years, I tried NYDJ, a brand that I'd been reluctant to try for some reason. I do love NYDJ; they're comfortable and fit me well (but sometimes need hemming). They have the right amount of stretch. NYDJ black jeans paired with a nice top are dressy enough for many special occasions. One lucky day, I discovered Gloria Vanderbilt's Amanda jeans when I searched for jeans in different colors. They had a nice selection and were quite reasonably priced. The color of the first pair I ordered was Cerulean Tide. Once I got a pair, I wanted more, because they fit me well, were super comfortable, and stylish. Like NYDJ, they have the right amount of stretch. So, I ordered more pairs of Amanda jeans in assorted colors, and slowly built a nice collection of them. I ended up dying two of the lighter colored pairs (pink and lavender) that I'd purchased, and am happy with the new blue colors I ended up with. I really love these jeans and wear them often!

GV jeans are beautiful, true black color, perfect size 4, material is soft but not flimsy, straight leg but not baggy, perfect length, extremely comfortable. Great price! My second pair of Amanda size 4 short. I’m 5’3 3/4, 125lbs.

I've been very happy with the Gloria Vanderbilt Women's Classic Tapered Amanda Jeans. The fit is flattering and comfortable, especially around the waist, and the fabric has just the right amount of stretch without feeling too tight or loose. I love the classic look that can easily be dressed up or down, making these jeans versatile for many occasions. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the length runs slightly longer than expected, so they’re a bit long on me. Overall, these jeans are a great choice for quality, style, and comfort at a reasonable price.

As a tall girl, the whole short jeans thing (which has lasted WAY longer than it should have) is beyond stupid. I like to have my ankles covered, thank you. I've been waiting YEARS for jeans to lengthen, but the idiocy persists. These jeans are comfy and fit well. I like the GV brand and appreciate that they're affordable. My only problem was that the size guide was off by a size. According to the guide, I needed a size 16, but they were too big. 14 was just right.

I purchased two pairs in 18 short. I am only 5’2” but I am a very curvy lady (no matter my size at time) so often I feel like the rise in petites can be too short. These fit perfectly, at waist, hips and thigh without being too long. Often if the pants fit my hips, the waist is too big and I either have to alter them or wear a belt and at my age, I really don’t like wearing belts. I discovered the capris this spring and ended up buying 5 pairs in different colors and shades of denim so I know these will wear well after being laundered. So, I am now purchasing for fall/winter. Today I received Dusty Dune (a pale gray, blue, green color) which I knew I was taking a chance on but really like the color as it will pair well with many things. I also received Rinse Noir (a really dark denim). Prior to this I had purchase a Black pair. These are very clean and classic in their tailoring so it will be easy to dress them up or wear casually and they have just enough stretch to make them comfortable for all day wear yet they still hold their shape. I have found that if you watch, you can get them for 50% off and who doesn’t like something that gives you both quality with savings, especially in this economy. I plan to purchase another couple of pair before winter once I decide what shades of denim I want.

I ordered these jeans in two different colors, but both the same style. My first disappointment was when I opened the bag to find that neither of them was the color seen on the pictures. I ordered a light pair and a medium pair (scottsdale and I can’t remember the name of the light pair). When looking at the pictures they looked sort of vintage, almost 80’s, which is what drew me to them. When I got them the color was not like that at all. They weren’t vintage looking, they were just a regular blue jean and a regular light blue jean. They did fit well in the hips and thighs, but despite the fact that I ordered the same size and style, the light colored pants were shorter than the mediums. My other issue is that these are supposed to be a high rise, but it seems they are only high in the front and low in the back. Because of that the jeans fold at the hips and lower back. I like that they fit and they’re stretchy and comfortable to move around in, but dislike the color and the inconsistency with the length. I’m keeping them, but wouldn’t order more in the future.

I feel like the color ages me a bit lol (tan) They are comfy; a little stretching occurs during wearing- not too much not too little. Just enough for them to be perfectly comfy. True to size and fit for me. They were LONG enough too! I actually had to take a pinch off the bottom- maybe 1-2”. But I don’t mind, bc I tend to be just outside the regular inseam length for some store bought jeans sometimes 33” inseam is perfect for me.

I have been purchasing Gloria's Amanda tapered fit jeans since the late 1990's. I have noted this past year, one pair had a label that says they were 'made in China'. That pair had to be returned for being extremely too tight. I normally wear ladies' size 12 or 14 depending on how the jeans are made. I noted this pair of jeans are made in Vietnam which is fine for they fit just a shade loose and I personally like the extra quarter inch around the thighs and waist areas. These are very comfortable, a great price, a nice color and made very well. I must have about 10 pairs of Gloria's Amanda jeans in various colors and I love them all. I highly recommend this jean if not made in China.
