The black size 16 Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans were 1 1/2" smaller around than the size 16 in Kansas navy. Tags had same sizes, same style. The black jeans were nearly the same size as my size 14 Amanda jeans. Maybe that's why they were on sale. I kept both jeans because I wear different sizes at times. I've had Gloria Vanderbilt jeans in the past when I was thinner, I found them well made. I do remember having to wear one size larger back then. Might just be my body shape, I have a big waist/tummy but narrow hips and thighs. According to the size chart I should be able to wear a 14 or 16 my waist is 43 inches and my hips are 46 inches. I'm wearing a 16 these days but I ordered an 18 Short, glad I did. They fit well, not tight, not loose, and I have room in case of any shrinkage. At 66% cotton they probably won't shrink much. They do seem very stretchy with the polyester and spandex so hopefully they won't get too loose and fall down. I wanted stretchy pull ons because I'm tired of tight waisted regular zipper fly jeans cutting in to me. I am 5'3" and ideally need a 26/27" inseam but normally do okay with 28" inseams, which are more common. For some reason these seem extra long on me but I did measure the inseam and it is 28". The front pockets are not normal Jean pockets. They are very shallow. Oh, they can hold a tissue folded very small or perhaps a couple of coins. Not real useable. I need pockets that can actually hold something. Back pockets large enough to hold a cell phone. I ordered short and jeans were too long. Other than that, I like the jeans but probably would not buy again because of the pockets. ... show more

These pants are good enough. More like pants than jeans. Shipping was insanely slow. I recently canceled prime and so even if you buy enough to qualify for free shipping they put you so low on the priority list that you have to wait weeks before they will even ship to you. I wanted white jeans (actual denmin) and these were advertised as jeans, but they are pants. However, I am still glad I bought them as they are very comfortable indeed. I always get worried buying clothing sight not seen on Amazon and tend to size one size up. However, these fit a bit on the large side so I would recommend getting your regular size. I normally wear size 20 but got 22. They also are the perfect length and I am 5'5. These may get slack after a few wears actually as the pull-on type pants tend to do so its best to buy a size that fits snug since they stretch out. Nice pants! ... show more

I already had 2 pair of Amanda jeans with a regular waist and belt loops. I wanted to try the pull ons as I don't always want to wear a belt. I love these new jeans as they are stretchy and pull on. The jeans themselves were nice, but they run big I feel. If you are more prone for bigger thighs than this should fit you perfect since I am the opposite. Overall the quality is good.
