I've owned many pairs of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans over the years. I added 3 more pairs about 6 months ago - Black, Scottsdale Wash, and Rinse Noir Wash. I like these jeans because not only are they stylish and versatile, they're also durable and comfortable and fit well. They look great dressed up in heels or boots or dressed casual with sneakers and a T-shirt. There are so many colors and different washes available too. For the reasonable price, I am able to keep adding to my collection. Long term they hold up well to regular washing and don't seem to shrink in fit or length. I also don't notice any fading, even in the dark washes or black. I like the gold colored stitching used on the blue washes that I bought (Scottsdale Wash and Rinse Noir Wash). I think it makes a nice contrast. The workmanship is very good and the quality seems to hold up over time. The stitching is strong and the zippers work well. I love the fit of these jeans. I sometimes end up with jeans that have a gap around my waist. This isn't the case with these jeans, so I can go without a belt. This is nice because then I can wear longer shirts without a lump from my belt showing through. The material of the Black pair is a soft brushed type. It does sometimes attract more lint because of this. I bought my usual size in these and I think they fit true to size. I do think these run a little longer than other brands in length. However, I think they are the perfect length for heels and boots without being too long for flat shoes. One thing that I find inconsistent between the various colors and washes is the waist size. These are very nice jeans! The denim material is substantial without being bulky. The jeans are well made. They are a high rise Jean, just what I wanted. The front pockets could be deeper but at least the jeans have pockets. The zipper is sturdy. The jeans fit my waist and hips well. I am a very curvy woman, and usually have trouble with jeans not fitting my waist. I’m also tall, and the jeans could be longer but these jeans do come to just below my ankle with a boot cut. The jeans are stretchy and comfortable. The jeans don’t get baggy at the end of the day. I will buy this style again, and recommend to my friends. ... show more

These jeans have reliable sizing; no guessing. The feel is soft and broken in. I was delighted to get a choice of inseam lengths. I did not give them 5 stars only because the shape is a straight leg, not tapered like in the photo. These are not "skinny jeans," but the leg below the knee is definitely a bit wider than the photo. I have purchased these jeans in department stores for many years but they have gotten very expensive. When I saw these at such a great price I purchased 2 pair, a week apart because I wanted to make sure they fit. The first pair was the black and exactly like the blacks I have purchased in Belk, Kohl’s and Penny’s, they run a little smaller but since I have lost 42 pounds over the last 7 months I was ok if they were smaller so I would have something for when I get down to a smaller size. To my surprise, the black pair actually wasn’t that much smaller than my other 16W that I had purchased from Belk and at Kohl’s in December, once I lose 5 more pounds they will fit great in the waist. I decided to order another pair, this time in Portland Wash, a darker blue, these fit wonderfully. I will say I did order a 16W short and these are average but since I can sew, it won’t be a big deal to cut it down and sew it to be the correct length. I just wish I could get a 14W for when I reach my next goal but I will go into a local store and try on the misses size to see what size I need to order from Amazon. Super fast delivery, even on the last one that indicated I wouldn’t receive it until 1/23-1/31, I actually received it in 3 days. I am 5'9, curvy, big hips, big butt, smaller waist. My normal size is 24, my old jeans are fitting tight, so based on the reviews, that's what I ordered because I read they tend to loosen and stretch out. Like other reviews, they are not going to fit perfectly over a large booty, they are going to ride low in the back, but that's how most of my other jeans fit, so I'm used to it and I deal with it. I like the fit, they have just enough power in the tummy area, and the legs are not tight. They fit like a boyfriend jean, and I think the denim is fine, it doesn't feel cheap to me. I'm tall, I ordered average and they are about right. I usually tuck them into boots or roll them up and wear them cropped with cute shoes, anyway so that's not a major concern of mine. Check your inseam if you worry about this. Bottom line, if I can get them on, zip and button them, they have a little extra tummy support, and I don't have to spend all day fussing with them, I'm good! These will work. ... show more

I bought these jeans in a larger size a few years ago when I was a larger size. They were flattering then and fit perfectly. When I lost some weight, I was worried my proportions might be different or something, but bought the smaller size anyway. These jeans have a higher waist than I like but they still fit and are comfortable. They are darker in color than the picture which was disappointing since I wanted a more faded look. Overall they are nice for the price.

Bought these on sale a a super low price. I tried a smaller size hoping they would fit. They fit perfectly. I’m 5’8”, 135lbs, size 12. So happy I downsized, I don’t like pant that are loose in the waste. Try this brand they are made well.
