I hate socks. So I purchased a pair some time ago with rubber soles from ebay & thought they were only meh. Based on my foot measurement, I purchased size 39. They were easy to get on/off but felt just a little big. My feet didn't slide around but the wool didn't really touch my skin. Even with the space, they warmed my feet as I wore them. I'd walk to my car, drive to the office & wear them there. They were ok. There was no real wear to the wool or the rubber sole. Then, I read an article where the author said that they should fit like a warm hug (over time, they stretch a bit). The light bulb turned on. So, I recently picked up a second pair in the next smaller size. And they feel incredible. Having the wool surround & touch your foot makes such a difference. Now, for those who get holes in the toes, I'm thinking that the toe is pressing against the wool in front. With my heel against the wool back, I have about 3/4 inch from the tip of my big toe to the wool. I plan on keeping it that way. That may be why some people get holes (it is only boiled wool after all, not leather). Anyway, the wool should "hug" your foot. If it doesn't it's too big. The larger size still keeps my feet warm & they'll be my office pair. Mine may actually last because I have 2-pairs now. I DID buy the most discounted priced pair from Amazon. I'll be very happy to get a few years out of these slippers. What started me on slipper shopping was that my kids got me a pair of UGG Coquettes for Christmas 2022 & most of the shearling was GONE from the foot bed by Christmas 2023 (and the UGGs were purely in-house slippers!) I hope these Glerups last longer. I paid less for these Glerups (discounted sale price) than my kids' paid for the UGGs. I'll update this review if they fall apart. I intend to wear them in warmer months too because I have cold feet. Buy them ON SALE!

These really are nice

I've seen these on "best slipper" reviews for years now so I finally decided to try them. I have been wearing wool clogs with rubber soles (for reference). The glerups are really nice! They too have a rubber sole which I love and the wool felt is heavy and warm. They are a substantial slipper and I and warm and comfortable in them around the house and yard. I definitely recommend!

Worth the Price

I looked at all the reviews and decided I would give these slippers a try. The quality is undeniable and the rubber sole is super comfortable. I love wool because of the way it adjusts to varying temperatures. My feet are usually warm so these are perfect for me. One thing that I especially love is that the shoes comform to one's foot after being worn several times. I would highly recommend them.

Comfortable well made slippers

Really like these. Bought them on the suggestion of Wirecutter. They are comfortable, warm and just nice. The one thing I'm planning on doing,and the reason for a star removal, is that the back by the heel is starting to come apart. This because it's top is tight enough that it takes a bit of force to get your foot in. My goal is to put a combination leather heel protector and heel pull tab on it. That will make it easier to put on and keep the excess force from shortening the lifespan of the slipper.

Cushions far better than others in this price class

These were recommended by a well known lifestyle blogger / podcaster. Desperate due to foot and knee pain, I took a chance on these and am delighted with how comfortable they are. They run just a bit tight, don’t worry, they stretched within two wearings for me. The only caveat I have is that the rubber soles are very grippy and take getting used to wearing. Also, the toe box is wide. Exercise caution if you decide to drive while wearing them. Great in the house and very good on dry surfaces outside.

Perfect for indoors, too
This is the 2nd pair I've had. The first had the leather sole, but I always wanted to wear them outside, too. I love the color and the ankle height, too. They keep my feet warm even when it's cold outside.

Best slippers ever!

I do t usually take time to write reviews but these slippers are so outstanding I had to take a minute. I have five pair of various Haflinger slippers and clogs, but I wanted something that covered my heels and came up a little higher, so researched and decided to try the Glerups shoe. I followed the size chart and ordered 37 since I’m a 7, but they were too short, so sized up to 38. They are perfectly cozy and comfortable straight out of the box and I’m delighted! They seam warmer than my haflingers but not too warm, just right!

I absolutely love these wool shoe. I'm on my 3rd pair. They are extremely comfortable supportive and are warm. Your feet don't feel slime if u don't wear socks. They are great for quick on and run out. I wear them after yoga class and quick errands. I have the black sole with charcoal black n I've had the green with the black sole. I have two pairs now, one is for the home (very wore and beat up) and the other is in presentable condition (new). This recent pair were on sale $104.
