These are really comfortable. I think they'll last for several years, but we'll see. The only complaint I have is the roundedness of the sole. I feel like the sole could be better if it were a 90 degree to the ground. Instead it's shaped more like a ship hull, so it's a little wobbly laterally.

MY FEET WERE NEVER COLD, ALL WINTER, & THAT IS REALLY SAYING SOMETHING. WANTED THESE FOR A LONG TIME BEFORE I SPLURGED & GOT THEM. HAVING THE RUBBER BOTTOMS MAKES THEM STAY DRY WHEN OUTDOORS ON WET SURFACES. JUST AS COMFORTABLE AS THOSE WITHOUT A BOTTOM SOLE.

I have spent years wishing for some slippers that are as close to slip-on as possible, but living in N Florida, I don’t need the super fleece variety. I chose these b/c reviewers said they don’t make one’s feet hot, but still provide a bubble of warmth. Since I think of wool as temperature regulating, I decided to pay my money and see. I wanted the rubber bottom so I can go outside if necessary. I love these, sure enough, my feet stay warm w/o getting hot. After scouring reviews re sizing (being between sizes) I chose the smaller size and it’s perfect. They say not to wear socks with these and I find that mostly to be true. Every so often when I’m really cold I use socks. Since this is felted wool, they will slowly degrade, particularly the top of the slipper as I put my foot into it, but I try to be gentle when I do this, and they are holding up well. I took off one star b/c like a few other reviewers, the rounded bottom is just slightly less comfy than I imagine a more squared off heel would be. Recommend!! Very happy with these. ... show more

After a spinal cord injury, my feet are numb and tingle all the time. My old slippers were made of lambs wool on the inside but felt too tight and hurt my feet after a few minutes. I saw the Glerups on Consumers Reports and gave them a try. The first pair had leather soles but I didn't want to wear them out even in the garage. I returned that pair and started looking for a deal on the ones with the rubber sole. It took a while but I found a pair for 89.95, not the normal 140-150 price. They are not as warm as the fleece-lined ones but do not hurt my feet. So I'm keeping this pair. The leather bottom ones are more comfortable, and if you're only using them in the house, that's the pair to get. And always wait for a price drop the regular price is outrageous. ... show more

My second pair of Glerups. All are comfortable, warm, and lightweight. They would be great, if, Glerups added a leather cover over the rear entry of their shoes to keep the wool from balling up and ultimately coming off of the shoes.

My sister recommended trying these. She loves hers. My husband and I both bought a pair. They are cozy, and keep my feet toasty when the temperatures drop. The fit is absolutely just right. They hug my feet snuggly. I have the natural rubber sole for better gripping on the wood floors. Because I am working from home, they are on my feet all day. I have Raynaud's syndrome and these keep my feet toasty without sweating. Only wool can do that! I've had several brands of wool slippers but these are by far the very best I've owned. If you have a high arch like I do, it might we wise to order 1/2 size up. I can get into them but it's a tight fit until my foot slides in and then they're perfect.
