I had installed a glass washer a couple of months ago and it was good. Unfortunately, it only sprayed water which wasn't always enough to get our mason jars that had been used for oatmeal or other sticky foods fully clean. When I saw this washer with the brush, I thought I would try it and I'm glad I did. The box contains everything you need to install the washer even a small wrench. Installation is very easy (provided you already have a hole in the sink) and the instructions are clear and concise. Follow the instructions and make sure you are installing the rubber gaskets in the correct order. One thing I would like to mention as a warning is that, when installing the T-valve and connecting the hoses, make sure to check that the rubber gaskets are inside. On this one, as well as my first washer, the gaskets were a bit loose and fell out. Thankfully, after it happening the first time and water leaking, I knew to pay attention this time and saw it fall out prior to me sealing the connection. Just an FYI There are 2 things that I really like on this washer. The first is that, unlike most other washers, you don't have to hold the glass down to keep the water flowing. Press down once and the water flow starts, you can then move the glass around so the brush gets all sides. When done, press it down again and the flow is stopped. The second is the brush feature. The brush works off of the water pressure and it works well. I was able to get the mason jars clean without a problem! I was going to post a video, but another reviewer already had an almost identical one so didn't think a duplicate was needed. The two things I wish were a little better are that I wish the brush was a bit taller. I know it's probably designed this was for wine glasses, but a larger brush would help with cleaning deeper glasses or mason jars. The second is that I wish the "switch" that starts the spray was removeable. My other washer was and it made it easier to clean. Not a big problem, but just takes a little bit more time. If you don't have a glass washer on your sink and are looking for one, this is a great option. It works well, installs easily and is heavy duty. The reason it's not a 5 star review is the pricing. It is a bit pricey in my opinion ($54.99 at the time of this review) considering that my previous washer was half the price. I still think it's a great product, but would definitely be a 5 star at a lower price point. ... show more

I feel like I now have a commercial kitchen! My family goes through so many glasses a day. I hate filling the dishwasher with so much glassware that doesn't need an hour dishwash session like the rest of my dishes do - so this is a great solution. It also fits into some of our water bottles so those are now getting cleaned daily instead of just once a month! Keep in mind, this glass rinser is focused on cleaning the inside and edge of the cup and not the outside. So, if you've had sticky fingers touching the outside of the glasses you will have to give that a separate washing. I got this and asked for my husband and son to install it for my birthday. They took a good stab at it, but ended up having to run to Lowes a couple times to get the right fittings. The rinser itself came with good instructions and the parts needed for its side of things, but the problem is always how to hook it up to the plumbing that exists in your home--which was the case here. But you know how plumbing fixes go--it ALWAYS takes twice as long as you expect it to--even for something as straightforward as this. Just know, you'll need some plumbing experience and a nearby Lowes. The sprayer itself, now that it's installed, is fantastic. This one is a bit different from others I've seen, in that when you push the glass onto the star-shaped device at the bottom, it turns on and locks on. You don't have to keep applying pressure to the glass to keep the water spraying. To turn it off you have to push down again and it switches off. This is nice because you don't have to keep constant pressure on the glass like you have to do with other versions. The water spraying and the spinning brush do a bang-up job rinsing out cups and mugs, especially if you've just finished your glass of milk before you give it a rinse. If you've left the drips of milk drying in the cup for a couple hours, it'll take a bit more to get those out. I gave it a go with a cruddy coffee mug that had seen too mugs of coffee and not enough scrubs, and it did a pretty good job getting a lot of the stuff out, but it still needed a scrub with a brillo pad, so don't expect this to work miracles. It is designed to rinse out cups, not super scrub them. That said, this has cut down a LOT on the glasses sent through our dishwasher. We can just rinse and stack in the drainer.
