I bought this dress for my maternity photoshoot & ended up loving it so much. I kept it & can rock it postpartum! The off-the-shoulder neckline w/ the flowiness truly gives it such an elegant, romantic look. During my maternity shoot, it photographed beautifully during golden hour & hugged my bump perfectly while still being super comfortable & lightweight. What surprised me most was how flattering it was after pregnancy too, makes this dress versatile. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch, so it still looked great postpartum instead of feeling like a “one-time” maternity purchase. It drapes nicely without being see-through & feels soft enough to wear for several hours. One thing to note is that this dress is LONG, which I personally loved because it gives that dramatic, flowy look in photos. For reference, I included pictures wearing it w/ platform heels + another w/ out platforms so you can see the difference. If you’re on the shorter side like I am, here are a few tips: * Wear platform sandals or heels if you plan on walking around. * If you’re taking professional photos, let the train flow behind you—it creates such a beautiful effect. * If you’re wearing it to an event, you may want to have it hemmed if you prefer it off the ground. * When walking, I found it easiest to lightly gather the front of the dress so I wouldn’t step on it. If you’re looking for a dress for maternity photos, a baby shower, or even a special event after baby arrives, I’d definitely recommend this one. Daughter in law wore this dress for part of a western-themed maternity shoot, and it was absolutely stunning! The elegant design with the ruffles and off-shoulder style gave it a soft, romantic feel while still fitting perfectly with the western vibe. The fit is flattering and comfortable, with enough stretch to accommodate her growing bump and keeping shape. You can easily wear it off the shoulders or not! We tried both. I’m 5’5 and 197lbs at 8 months pregnant. I purchased the Floral 13 pattern in a size Medium. It fit like a glove and I absolutely loved the comfort of the material, how it felt on my body, the give it has and despite reviews for other colors, this one did not show/reveal anything. I would absolutely recommend wearing maternity spanx anyway and that could have helped but seeing other reviewers pictures with very noticeable undergarment color or line visibility, I can reassure this particular color and pattern does not have that problem. The material also appears thicker than other pictures I saw. It is also much nicer in person than it looks in the pictures, mine included. I received many compliments through the day/night. I wore it to a first communion of a family friend, at which I was the photographer and required me to stand, sit, bend, walk a lot. Advice: This is not the type of dress you want to order larger as it’s very long. Amazon is now apparently making size suggestions such as it did me, “Large will fit you best based on data from customers who buy the same size as you.” It may be accurate but as you may have noticed in my subject title, I ordered a medium and I did that based on the description of many other reviewers for this product. That worked out well for me, especially because I rarely order clothes for myself through Amazon. The medium was still pretty long but as you can see in my picture, I wore the dress with a rouge look around my rib cage and that helped control the length I actually needed. The dress was near perfect for my maternity shoot. Great quality materials, wasn't see through and fit great. I ordered the XXL and I'm 5'3" and around 245 lbs and 36w pregnant (at the time of the photo shoot). The dress is long so while walking I made sure to hold up the dress bottom so I didn't get it all dirty (it had rained the morning of and the previous few days). Very beautiful dress and fit just right. The only thing is if you’re short it will drag lol I am 5’4 and mine was still on the ground a bit but if you’re any shorter it will definitely be super flowy. The material was wonderful and overall I just felt beautiful in it. Great price as well. Size M

I’m 5’6 and got the xl. It was very comfortable and perfect with the arms out because it was a hot day. You can wear this 2 or 3 different ways. Just depends on what look you want. It is very long so you may have to hold the bottom while walking. The material was thin but not see through. This dress is an absolute WIN! I ordered an XL to be a little looser in the hips. I am 5’11” and 220 lbs, 34 weeks pregnant and I’ve never felt more beautiful in a dress. The material was great quality and soft. The dress was actually long enough for this tall girl! The material is lightweight so I didn’t get too hot on the 80 degree day.
