These shoes look cute online and in person, but I was iffy about the glitter. I ordered them anyway, and much to my dismay, as soon as I opened them, I saw loose glitter everywhere in the shrink-wrapped bag. Now I don't know how easily it comes off, but I can tell you it is loose glitter glued onto the shoe, and there were loose bits that already came off in the bag. It looks like a good quality shoe, and I'm sure it will make lots of little kids happy, but I am just here to warn other parents about this loose glitter situation. I found a very similar shoe to this one at a local major retail store that was also rainbow, and sparkly, and had stars, and it was cheaper, with no loose glitter. I bought these for my 4 year old. They are true to size. She loves the sparkle. I will say if she was to sit criss cross with shorts on or where her shoes were rubbing her legs the sparkle would scratch her up. The glitter on the shoes are pretty rough. And the shoes themselves are very stiff. Other than that my daughter has not complained of them so they seem to be comfortable and durable. They will probably get less stiff upon wear. I love the look of them. They did come exactly as pictured. The only reason I did not put five stars is the stiffness and roughness of the glitter. ... show more
