My daughter has to wear black or khaki bottoms to school. I bought these as a compromise because she hates wearing the pants but it's too cold for skirts, and tights don't fit well under skorts. I wasn't sure if she'd even be allowed to wear these, but she's been wearing them every day for the last three months and no one has said a thing to me. I bought 4 pair, will probably buy more! They're lightweight, but not so thin you'll be cold. They're honestly great and we always gets compliments and parents asking where we got them. My ONLY complaint is the elastic band isn't sewn in place, so after every wash it gets very twisted up, and I have to manual manipulate the waist band back in place. I've considered stitching it myself. Definitely worth it. Though I will say I JUST saw the same item on Temu for $5.... Oh well.
